Anyone remember Johnny's British accent from "Politics"? I thought it was pretty very silly. I really like how Scott Hill managed to pull it off, or in-universe, how a rough and gritty biker was able to pull it off. If they could remake one GTA game, I would want TLAD to be remade, and the only changes made would be re-recording every line of Johnny's dialogue in his British accent.

It's here at 1:33.

I remember you commenting on this before. Not sure if it's post-worthy...

But yeah, Scott Hill for some seemingly random backwoods artisan gave an impeccable performance, and I must admit the imitation caught me a little off-guard the first time.

I can't imagine it being particularly difficult to give six or seven words in a different accent. If we're remaking TLaD, it's either extended edition or The Fall of Trevor edition.

Perhaps Johnny has a British twin that hunts down Trevor?

He is Jewish.

I completely forgot about that, reminded me just how great Johnny's voice actor was, especially for a guy who before TLAD, was basically a no name. In fact, according to IMDb, he didn't do ANYTHING in voice acting at all before TLAD.

But in all seriousness though, none of the voice actors of a playable character in a Rockstar game has ever done anything remotely interesting before or after the game they worked in.

Ray Liotta would like a word with you.

Most of the VA's in the 3 era does, in IV and V? not really...

Ray Liotta ...

It's such an oddball, being the only known actor to voice a playable character in a Rockstar Game, I completely forgot about him or Tommy Vercetti.

I remember Michael Madsen shooting at Tommy Vercetti's clones in Driver 3 though!

Johnny: 'I think you should leave sir before I' *accent break* Dude, it's the 21st century!

Meanwhile, people make fun of Johnny calling him a 60s or 70s biker :p

That wasn't remotely 'British' and nor was the accent of the doorman.

Its the stereotype though and most people who know the stereotype would identify that as the British one. The realistic one is something else entirely.

I just realized something controversial.

Didn't you previously created a topic something along the lines of "Johnny's no more, get over it"?

Where did it go? is this why you replaced it with this accent topic?

For ... Revenge?!!

Yes, it is pretty admiring. Nice catch. I did recognize that, too but I don't know I didn't hold onto it so much. In my opinion, Scott Hill did a great job with this gritty, badass biker; gave him that soul, y'know. Besides Hill, I think every each of the people who voiced the characters in IV trilogy did priceless job. For example, Joe Barbara filled Ray Boccino's class yet cocky appearance with his awesome voice that fit it. Or Karel Roden (Mikhail Faustin)... he actually impersonated that agressive, paranoid wreck of a gang leader. Likewise, Ray Bulgarin has always supposed to be a feared man (I think he was the most fearable man in the trilogy) and his voice... really did the trick. And of course, Michael Hollick, there's a lot to mention about his performance. Phil Bell, Francis McReary, Packie McReary, Rocco, Brian, Roman Bellic, Billy Grey, Malc... every each of their voicers did really good job. I always say, GTA IV's cast, a cast to die for.

The weird thing is, I wonder if Johnny wouldn't have ended up happier if he'd been living a lifestyle a little more like Trevor's, and vice versa.

Johnny didn't really seem to enjoy being part of a gang as such, at least not one so large. He could've driven around in trucks getting sh*t-faced and spilling blood with nobody but Jim, Tery, Clay, and Angus, before settling in the desert in a trailer with Ashley next to his four brothers.

By the same token, Trevor could've just as easily fallen into a subculture full of aimless, antisocial, chopper-riding outcasts after getting thrown out of the military. He might've ended up a leader like Billy, only loyal, or a wild supporter following someone who was like a cross between Johnny and Michael. Either way, he would've hit the throttle harder than any of them, no matter how old he got, and they would've ridden from coast to coast, dropping the nuke on a small scale.

Guess by that revelation we can safely conclude that Trevor will become inducted to the Angels of Death in the oncoming DLC.

Meanwhile Franklin becomes a tour guide for the Uptown Riders during their Los Santos visit.

And Michael discovers in shock and horror that Solomon Richards is secretly a high ranking motorcycle trader for the Lost Brotherhood. Dave Norton takes advantage of this situation and forces Michael to become an undercover biker with the Lost. Amanda gets to lend a hand or two for 'credentials'.

Ladies and Gentlemen this is undoubtedly the Three Way Fight of the Century!

Pray for it!

Oh my god.

Johnny drinks Pisswasser, before tossing it at the ground, shattering it.
Sounds familiar?

http://media.gtanet....-and-damned.jpg

That's at the end of the mission "It's War", when Billy shares the news of Jason's demise.

Johnny meets Stubbs barely a handful of missions afterwards and had his british accent moment with Leavis.

...

Don't you see where I'm getting at?

Trevor too meets Nigel and Mrs Thornhill barely a handful of missions after throwing the bottle of pisswasser at Johnny, and spurs out-of-nowhere british accents!

Drinking Pisswasser gives you 'british accent hiccups'!!

It's scientifically examined and proven!

Step one
Drink pisswasser
Step two
Toss it on the ground/alternatively on someone's face
Step three
Wait
Step four
Find british people to hang out with, and wait for the opportune moment
Step five
Open your mouth and observe out-of-character moments explode in all sort manners of subtleties!

I hope they include pisswasser as a new type of grenade category weapon in the DLC.
Select it, drink it, toss it, wait, shoots off a lorry missile strike from outer space!

^ That makes sense, seeing as "Pisswasser" isn't even a proper German word. Stupid English guys trying to act German and all.
