Support the site, it's a free service that has bills to pay.

I've got Adblock installed on Mozilla, but the adds don't f*cking go. I've tried different settings but they are still f*cking there. A few hours ago, I already had adblock and that one managed to get rid of them and I done something and it f*cked up. All the icons and stuff started disapperaing and I couldn't see the message icon or the notifications icon. What to do?

Check your control panel, go to "uninstall/change programs", and see if any spyware shows up. Or failing that, see if Firefox got any extensions added on under your nose. I know Chrome does that sometime, but I can't recall if Firefox works the same way.

I use Firefox and don't have an issue.

Try reinstalling Firefox and adding Ad block after.

I did uninstall firefox and adding adblock again, that didn't work. I'll have to see if Universe's tactic works.

Edit: So I just checked on control panel and can't see no spywares. Plus there is nothing installed in the extensions under my nose. What a sh*tty situation.

What do the ads look like? Are they like banners atop the page or are they words highlighted in the text?

Oh that's great. The least you could do is support the forums and disable ad block for this specific site, the ads on the forums aren't even that bad, its not like you get forced to watch a video or have constant pop ups. Live with it, its nothing major.

^ ads are not going away unless you get some sort of an adblock, sites have to make money somehow

Google Chrome master race.

Like others said though, the ads on this site aren't even a big deal compared to Youtube and such.
