It's not like actual females don't get harassed enough by virgin teens with hormone problems. Get a porn, dude.

I understand, however if Rockstar implement this then dating would become universal and it'd me much easier for certain players to get on the 'dating ladder', so to speak.
Also, maybe one could have a real and a GTA Online relationship at the same time? I dunno, just throwing it out there.

It's not really that hard to "get on", & doing it virtually is never going to help you improve your esteem and confidence because it requires no actual presence and interaction.
if you have a real relationship, I doubt you'd want a "GTA:Online" one.

Please stop trying to make this game Second Life people. Next, people will want furries as playable characters....Oh no, i've said too much!
Regarding the first point, this has been covered in the methodology (step 1). You can only go on a date if you sign up to date/place an ad/browse ads.

Regarding the second point, on the contrary I believe that success in a GTA online relationship will breed confidence for RL relationships. A catalyst, so to speak.

And I'd have a IRL and NIRL relationship no problem.

You really think R* is going to showcase themselves with a dating site or craigslist? o.o

Not really, it'll just make these people pursue more virtual "relationships" and alienate themselves IRL even more.

Spoiler

You've never had a worthwhile relationship if you want a virtual one too.
BTW that's cheating either how....disgusting.

Meh....

I can get a BJ for $50 just around the corner.

Not everyone can be so lucky.

Well.. You could always by a cash card if you can't afford a BJ.   lol

Or maybe use your Cash Card cash to purchase a real life BJ?
or use a cash card to buy a bj. They make great stocking stuffers.
Anyone actually done this?

Dafuq did I jus read?

Have another read through :)

Again with the dating...
Why not just put the same effort IRL & get yourself a real girl/boyfriend?

Agreed, the more features the better. They had it in GTA IV and SA, nothing's stopping them from implementing it here.

Top stuff

Rockstar,GTA =/= Dr. Phil or a dating site, nor should it.....ever.... for any reason. There's actual dating sites IRL. Use those, but by the beard of Zues.... this game doesn't need to be FUBAR'd by this nonsense.

Welcome aboard bro.

Out of interest, would you mind if your gf was dating a dude in GTA Online, and vice versa?

She doesn't play but I wouldn't care if she went on gta dates...there are a lot of kids playing this game so I don't think it's like a serious relationship issue(she would probably end up dating a 12yo haha)...just having fun online you know?

Exactly dude. We're on the same wavelength.

This idea is simply to enhance player to player interaction, link the community and add an exciting new dimension to the game.

Dat title of this thread. "Funk Up" More like incoming waves of black people boarding on the Soul Train playing funky music. Like James Brown, Bootsy Collins, Ohio Players, and etc. Force everybody in the session play Space 103.2 on radio for a whole time to feel the "soul." Try to wording a special name instead of funk. Remember, play that funky music.

I'm picturing The Pointer Sisters singing their classic hit, Automatic, you know it, it was like the "it" jam at the Malibu club!

The streetcorner shark card, for the poor bachelor that needs company on a lonely saturday night.

Yeah, the first time i tried to pick up a hooker in GTA0, it told me to go to the Playstation Store for a cash card and I looked all over for the BJ card, and couldn't find it.

No.

Care to elaborate?

People are doing many of the things you're suggesting already. My crew leader (who was using his girl character)related a story to me about someone trying to take him on a "date" in free roam by escorting him to the movies AFTER they had driven him to the beach to watch the sunset. When they got to the theater my crew leader said that the guy had to find a limo if he wanted to continue the date. Dude ran off to find a limo...crew leader switched sessions.

Your suggestion of dating puts visions in my head of a bunch of boy-gamers trying to solicit sex from the "girl"-gamers. Free Roams filled with people in their apartments trying to "e-get it on" in that bed.

And that all seems kinda lame and pathetic.

I would agree that this all seems lame and pathetic, but at it's worst, it's still deeper and less pathetic than the mindless kill-everyone sh*tfest that is GTA0 free-roam.

Just like Craigslist dating, make sure you're happy with the life you've lived and you've told your loved ones you care because you're probably about to be murdered.

The use of "Funk Up" was as an expression rather than the literal sense, however, funk music would actually go hand in hand with some dates (again, this could depend on dating preferences or be part of the flirt mini game)

is this some kind of sick joke?

No. Quite the opposite actually.

Any suggestions?

I've heard of but not used Craigslist, however this idea would have no association with the aforementioned site.
