Model appears untextured and missing polygons in-game

I modeled from scratch the AK47 from SA to achieve a better looking model,the thing is,in 3ds everything seems alright,but in-game,the textures are missing and some polygons are missing.

Anybody knows why does this happen?

Same problem when I convert my sketchup models :/

I'm running 3ds max 9 32-bit on win7 64bit system.. (any bugs possible?)
