I opened this thread in another forum and it was popular. PLEASE MOD don't lock this thread

Instructions:

- We are all into one or more styles in cars. But sometimes, a brand we are not really into, releases a new model which it's just beautiful for us. Let's share this vehicles with the rest of the community. Here are mine:

Definitely the 09 Hyundai Sonata, Acura Legend, and Acura RL. I can't stand FWD, but would definately end up owning 1 of these cars in a heartbeat for the right price.

Japan's version of the Honda Odyssey. Minivans can be pretty whack but the way dudes modify them overseas is awesome. Sadly the western countries get a larger/uglier version of the van.

The E70 X5. I fell in love with this car the other day and now I can say it's one of my favorite cars. I'm a sedan type of person, so the F30 3 series BMW, E90 and E60 are my preferences, but recently after testing this X5 Beamer, I love it.

Not a Merc fan, but I absolutely adore the CL (65 AMG).

Mazda RX8

2008-mazda-rx8-facelift-motorauthority-0

1) Funny looking thing, arguably ugly when compared to the FD RX7 in particular.
2) No turbos, and pretty gutless at anything below 8,000RPM.
3) Most have been abused or mistreated, resulting in £3k engine rebuilds every 30k miles.
4) 18mpg on a good day.
5) 500 miles per litre of oil if you're lucky.

Doesn't stop me having a bit of a soft spot for them.

The Tesla model S

I loathe electric and hybrid cars (especially the Prius... god don't get me started on that) but something about the model S pulls me in. Maybe it's because it has a lot of storage space, maybe it's because of the 17" screen in the car or maybe it's just the fact that this is the only electric car I've seen that doesn't look like a piece of sh*t.

I'm not fan of super cars but the Audi R8 is indisputably gorgeous.

This may very likely be an unpopular opinion but I find the Tesla S real dull. Like a mixture of a Quattroporte with a Jaguar and something else.

The Tesla is actually one car I'm glad is dull and looks like an ordinary luxury 4-door...because it's electric. Manufacturers always turn electric cars into gimmicks with their outlandish obviously-futuristic styling (which looks dated 5 years later).

Electricity may well be the future of automobile power, but it won't be such a bitter pill to swallow if it's marketed as a drivetrain choice as opposed to a lifestyle choice.

FIsker Karma. I'm not that keen on pure electric cars at the moment, and I don't like the grill on it. But I still like it.

karma-desert-630.jpg

And having seen a lot of Telsa in person, I do like it. Though it is a hatchback and not a sedan.

It's funny though, I never saw a Telsa in person until a month ago, and now I see one every day.

I saw my first Tesla here in Taiwan about a month ago as well. I was on the way home from the office and saw something unfamiliar parked on the street. Saw it was a Tesla pulled over immediately to get a better look. I like it, and I really like the massive screen that replaces the centre console.

I'm not a big fan of minivans (who is?) but I particularly like these big luxury minivans we get here in Asia. Funnily enough my parents just got an Alphard and it is very comfortable to ride around in.

Aren't the Toyota Vellfire and Alphard pretty much the same van, just one targeted at young people and the other aimed at the rich?

I suppose, but what young person is going to want to drive that?

Someone with a lot of friends? Or a young family? They should just sell the Vellfire here.

I too see one at least 3 times a week and I got to say, they are WAY lower than you'd expect.

I liked it more than any other minivan on the market here, for one.

I see. If you were wondering why I asked it was purely out of curiosity as I got a lot of negative feedback the last time I mentioned the Vellfire.

Most of these japanes car makers don't make really good looking cars anymore.

Apart from this bunch and a few more.

Acura TSX and Accord in some other countries:

Yea, heard on a news app I had Tesla will be putting bottom covers to protect the battery getting scraped and catching fire.

I gotta say, the headroom was awful, and I'm only 6 ft 1. It's also kinda hard to 'get to know' in the beginning, lots of new features that are hard to undersatnd

I'm usually not in to American cars, but I really like the 1995 Ford Taurus SHO. When it came out it was fast as f*ck and you can pick them up today for not a bad price.

Ford_Taurus_SHO_%28second-gen%29.jpg

Also, the Artega GT. It's really generic but I like it for some reason. Although, it kinda looks like a car you would find in a low budget game without licensed cars.

I used to not care for Porsche, especially when it came to the 911, but the 991 is just stunning to me. I favor the Carrera 4S the most and if I had the opportunity to buy one, it would be just like the one in the image, but with a full leather tan interior, five-"open"-spoke wheels, and a few of those aerodynamic design options that Porsche has to offer.

Absolutely stunning Range. I've never liked any of them ESPECIALLY the sh*tty Evoque, which is a disaster in the range series, but this one has to be the best one ever made. Beautiful, both interior and exterior. Would love to drive this on a manual.

audi-q7-v12-170310-540x304.jpg

This for me is the ultimate SUV. The performance is fantastic and the interior is quality. The only thing I can say is it just doesn't have the looks of a Range or a Porsche Cayenne.

I like Lexus, but I'd never buy one... unless, of course, it was an ISF.
