Hello, I thought I'd share an interesting thing I found recently on GTA III while I was browsing YouTube for some GTA videos. Normally you get money from missions, stunt jumps, destroying vehicles and crashing into vehicles and the most popular way to get tons of money is to start Firefighter and use F1 to extinguish fire immediately. But how about other ways that don't involve missions? Especially after you completed game 100% and are not interested in missions anymore? How about using a Rocket Launcher to destroy vehicles? Nah, that's boring and it takes a long time to even get $10,000. But how about using a tank to push other tank? Well, let's get started:

First of all, go at the docks in Portland and use the emergency crane to get two Rhinos.

Second, get into one of them.

Third, start pushing the other one.

Be careful as one of the tanks will eventually catch on fire (when you get around $30,000-$50,000), so when you see that, immediately get out of tank. Sometimes the other tank might catch on fire and that will not hurt you when explodes (assuming you are still inside the main tank) but to be sure, I recommend to get out, regardless of which tank is about to explode. Keep repeating process and you will get millions in a short time! (though I had nearly 8 million before starting this trick, I got $550,000 only in a hour)

Seems interesting, and it's PS2 friendly. (no F1 key :D)
Though money is useless in GTA III, and there's no limit in III as in VC/SA when it goes above $999,999,999, so this method might finally answer the question, what is the limit of money in III?

Nobody knows, I manage to get 21 million dollars and get bored with F1 key, not like in VC/SA using hunter during Vigilante, or using casinos/horse races in GTA SA

If there's no $99999999 cap, then probably $2147483647. Later it'll probably go negative and mess lots of stuff.

Yep, in GTA III money is nearly useless except for two missions (Bomb the Base: Act II and The Exchange) and for purchasing weapons, respraying and planting bomb in your car, though I never bothered purchasing weapons as I always collected them from my hideout when getting hidden packages.

I also didn't know that there wasn't a limit of money in GTA III, I thought $999,999,999 would be maximum amount as in VC and SA but I never bothered getting $999,999,999 in any of games as it becomes kind of boring when you have maximum money.

I have $8,500,000 in GTA III (as you see in screenshot), $1,500,000 in GTA Vice City and about $18 million in GTA San Andreas (the latter I used Horse Betting with saving when won and loading when lost). My plan is to get 10 million on III and VC and on SA to get $99.999.999, as it would take too much time betting millions on Horse Track.
