Breaking the bank at caligulas glitch [iOS]

Breaking the bank at Caligulas mission having problems with the safe door not blowing up. They all end up trapped inside the safe and time runs out. Can anyone help me? Anybody having the same problem?

Some game questions.
Does your game have any mods installed?
Which version did you buy?

Grab the satchel charges in the vault area, then head upstairs to the generator room. Go upstairs and take out the two guards, then place satchel charges on the generators and blow them up from a safe distance. Go back downstairs and the vault door is blasted open.

Hi!

I have the same problem...

Even by doing that, the safe door doesn t blow up.... There is an explosion but the door stay the same.

After a few minutes, i am stuck IN the safe with my team!!!!! And can t get out....

I would like to see your save file. If I was unable to do anything myself I will talk to my buddy who is very nice in dealing with these glitches.

I also have this glitch on Android. Its really annoying as I have finished all of the other storyline missions.

 

I have tried everything I can think of including using satchel charges on the door. Anyone have a workaround.

This sounds like another example of the SA Mobile Extra Objects Glitch. A similar problem has been observed in the Burning Desire mission. Testing suggests that failing a mission is likely to introduce extra mission objects "permanently" into the save. I forget the exact conditions; possibly resuming a checkpoint after a failure, or maybe even continuing and retrying from the mission start. Either way, if you don't fail or always reload a previous save before another attempt then you shouldn't get the extra object glitch.

 

Your options for a fix are to load a save that's before ever triggering this mission, or upload your save so we can identify the offending objects in the save and remove them with a Cleo script customized for the objects in your particular save.

 

Glitch Status: Last time this problem came up in the Burning Desire mission we were able to identify the basic problem but the easy fix was to smash through the extra doors with a motorcycle before triggering the mission. This time we are better prepared to destroy offending objects with game codes. We'd like to see your glitched save, even if you've got a good backup to work with.

 

And all I intend to do is destroy objects that prevent the mission from being completed. Any other objects will continue to clutter your save. This is a pretty nasty problem introduced into SA Mobile. Perhaps there's still a chance it might get repaired if we tell them exactly how the glitch is occurring.
