I normally get, on average, 3-5 hours of sleep per night. I am currently on my fourth day without any of this marvelous activity, however, and things are getting pretty interesting.

Does anyone here have actually done/experienced no sleep at all? Like they nearly remained awake for 24 hours and then sleep another day?

I've been awake for about 45 hours last summer and that Friday after school I passed out and woke up the next afternoon. Luckily it was Saturday or else I would get a bitching from my summer school teacher -.-

yes... I woke up friday it was 8am... we had a barbecue at night and the thing lasted for hours, it was 9am the next day and everybody was still there.. so another barbecue was organized and we lasted until sunday, 3~4 am... so I guess it was kinda like 43~45 hours.

and yeah the other day was f*cked, vomit, sleep and pain

*that happened in 2011

I stayed up once. Afterwards, I couldn't concentrate and became very forgetful. So I didn't do that again.

I sleep from 10pm to 7am. I get tired easily mainly because I have an active lifestyle. Sometimes I take daytime naps during the weekends and the vacations.

On the weekdays, I usually fall asleep between 9:30-11 and wake up at 6:30. I'm still tired most days, lucky me.

On the weekends I can fall asleep at any time, but for some reason I always freaking wake up before 8. It really pisses me off sometimes that I can't sleep in. I used to be able to sleep until noon.

Oh yeah, also I have to sleep with a fan or some other sort of monotonous white noise. No white noise no life.

Usually 7-8 hours a day with the ceiling fan on low (even during the colder months). Ever since getting my mattress I feel as if my sleeping's improved though I still tired during early morning uni lectures. Starting at 8am for maths used to suck so much balls.

Though I used to start at 4am for one of the jobs I used to have so I shouldn't complain too much. ;)

I usually sleep for 6 to 7 hours. I sleep early at night and then get up early in morning. I usually leave for school at 7:30AM, so I've to complete my chores hours before that. And that too, I don't get any other time ever to sleep. Time and again, I feel sleepy during my classes. Even in Summer, it's not hard to doze off with an air conditioner.

I used to do this ALL the time when I was younger. My body was just like "I think we should get you on a every OTHER night sleep schedule. It was brutal. I think the longest stretch was near 48 hours.

I'm a very light sleeper, I might at best get 3-5 hours of sleep per night. If a fly scratches its ass in my house I'll know about it! In direct contrast, my wife sleeps like she's dead! A person could break into my house, steal all the furniture, steal the bed that she's sleeping in and she'd never know what happened. It pisses me off so bad that someone can sleep that damn hard

When I do go to bed, the room temperature has to 72 degrees and I have a portable fan on me to keep me cool. I cannot go to sleep if I'm some what hot, I have to be cold.

On weekdays from 12pm-4am to 7am.

Weekends from around 2am-11am. Depends on what I'm doing the night before :p

I'm having trouble getting to sleep, any tips?

Nice topic! :)

I usually stay up late 'til 2-3AM.  Last year i was a bigger no life fag: Stay up late 'ill 6AM in the morning, before browsing web for another 6 hours, then sleep for 3-4 hours. The loop repeated for over a month.

Damn i wanna have a lucid dream, i feel like a loser. :santa:

About three or four hours if I'm working the next day. I get up for work at 3am five days a week and I can't sleep while it's light out, so I have to wait until around 11pm to hit my mattress. I tend to stay up until around 1am or 2am when I'm not working, and get around six hours sleep on those days.

Obviously in winter, when the sun sets just after 4pm, I can get a lot more sleep. But during Summer...I'm pretty much zombified 24/7.

Am I the only one who loves to sleep after drinking some beer or wine?

I love waking up with that "which day is it" feeling. It's amazing how the human brain acts when we're intoxicated.
