The hud can be changed via texture in txd. Maybe option to switch either texture name or whole txd?

Didn't know that the hud was a txd. Anyway a toggle will be more comfortable.

Firstly it needs to be used somehow with d3d8to9.

 

For some reason, the d3d8to9 makes the game almost uncrashable.

Zooming map without lagging like in stock VC
syncing map position with cursor, it no longer zoom to the center
Hidden gray bar at the bottom

But why Staunton and Shoreside look darkened in the map?

Probably, they were made as dark as at the beginning of the game.

You have cursor as cross lol :)

It's the way radar in LCS and VCS works.

The cross thing obviously... who thought an ugly cursor arrow thing on the map was a good idea in the first place 😝. Just like sa on pc having the marker and a cursor on the menu 😑.

No cursor option has won.

 

btw:

Finally LODs, which are without short distance objects, are fixed now and they disappear when player is near. Now they can be used as multilods which fits to more than one short distance object.

I have played GTA III, VC and SA and passed all missions WITHOUT USING ANY CHEAT ON ALL 3 GAMES!

Since some people wants the cursor and some other not, what if you add the cursor to the map screen representing the keyboard controls and if someone is using GInput the cursor will disappear as happens with GInput on San Andreas. What do you think? What people say too? Will be look as R* would have done it.

That's what I was thinking. No cursor for controllers and with cursor for keyboard & mouse.

It's only one minor thing though, so it's not like it's gonna be a big of a deal.

Better textboxes so they looks like in LCS I guess :)

 

The changes:

changed default colors
added shadow
increased background boundaries
better disappearing style of text and background
resized font in width and height

 

The gif is half sized, it's not that small :p
