I searched, and didn't see one already. I probably missed it though.

After everyone claiming how awesome it was, I went and got one.

You were correct. This thing is a beast!

Hm yeah, gonna get one when we have the second garages (will probably look like the second pic below).
Owned a rusty one in GTA Online, then sold it. These pics are from singleplayer.

That first picture is amazing OP - almost looks like it's drawn in comic-style.

Thanks, the rain helped, but I was hoping for clear skies.

Here's a few more:

Hope they bring in the mods from the original in a future update, I want the bedcap more than clean paint.

Took me forever to find the one I wanted, and 60k+ in upgrades, but I love it.

Wish you could get the baja bar and roof lights at the same time on the clean rebel without having to save edit/ SP-MP.

Is the ONLY way to get the light bar and baja brush guard using the save editor?

That, or if there's still a working duplicate method, duping one someone already brought into online..

This is what I had to do. Go on vehicle request thread and follow the instructions on how to post a request. Got mine the same day. There are some pretty cool guys and girls on there that will hook you up. I had a wingless Phoenix I got the same way. I ended up swapping it for one with the stock duck tail, just looks more legit to me I guess.

http://gtaforums.com...eciation-tread/

It says "tread" instead of "thread" bit still popped up first on google.

Edit: OP is a lot nicer in here and the title is correct so probably better to keep this one going.

I will admit that I like the Rusty Rebel better (mine has the Sandrail conversion), but...ew, a Sandking. That thing is the Chradder of off-road vehicles.

Cause it kinda got taken over by trolling kids... and it handles much better than the sandking (used to own a xl) and climbs vertical sh*t much better

It doesn't need to be very fast, as it's plenty fast enough for off roading, and that's all that's required. I don't find the handling to be bad at all, infact it has some of the better handling amongst the offroad vehicles. I also love the Sandking (would always choose an SWB over an XL though), It's got great handling since it changed to AWD, but that things even slower than the Rebel. For me, they are both great, but excel at diferent things. The one certainty, is that they're both better than a Mesa.

I've thought about swapping the XL for the SWB, but the extra room comes in handy when your buddies drown their truck in the rapids and need a ride to the road. I might end up saying screw it, they are walking from now on.

Finally got one - inspired by the Hilux from 'Back to the Future'. Tried it with muscle car rims - turns out they're chunky enough to not look weird on it. Indeed, for taking it around the city, it actually works quite well as a 'sports pickup':

Better shot of my trusty pickup:

0_0.jpg

Now fully-upgraded - engine, turbocharger, transmission, brakes all maxed out. Cost a fair packet, and time/effort, but so very, very worth it - handles great, really barrels down the road, and the engine roar is brutal. Love it!
