I love RR. Really. It's the out R* has given us from cash cards.

I usually just join contact mission from the cell phone menu, play RR a few times to make a quick buck, build up the JP, then you can host anything you want and people will join. You just gotta get that JP up first.

Also, anytime you play with someone who demonstrates that they aren't a total moron, add them as a friend. It's not like you're actually friends, just one more person the game will try to pair you with that can hold their own in other missions.

Some of us need the money. This is the fastest way to get it. I could grind the second fastest mission that pays well but then I'd get bored of that too.

Does JP have anything to do with people joining your jobs?? This is the first time I've heard that...

I agree about adding friends, I started doing this early while coming across friendly+skilled players, and now everytime I do a job, there's a slight chance someone with skills and experience will jump in to help me!

Being part of an active crew also helps.

@ Dr.Rosenthal, TBH I'm not entirely sure, but I can't imagine what else it'd be good for since it resets every time you quit. Could just be my imagination, but when I try to host a job right away I get no joiners. When I get bored of RR and host, they fill right up.

Everyone starts flaming OP for even suggesting the removal of rooftop rumble, but there is good reason to suggest it. The main source of money on GTAO should not come from one 3 minute mission. I would like to see it nerfed honestly, its literally the only mission anyone does. Good luck finding someone to do other contact missions too. The fact that every lobby I join and I get a text saying "start rooftop rumble!" from a level 20 is pretty pathetic.

I really wouldn't mind if the payout was decreased some. It's silly that a quick mission like RR pays better than one like Los Santos Connection.

And what solution do you propose. All you've said is a detraction, not a solution. if you nerf amounts then another mission will take it's place if you keep detracting then there will be nothing but the shark cards which is not the point of the game. We need RR to be left as is with either better or equal missions to make a turn over or decent side jobs like heists, casino, drug dealing, et al, to supplement things and create equally viable and enjoyable options, not nerfing things. R* need to rise up to the problem instead of moving it about like a single plaster on a very leaky dam.

JP has no effect on anything at the minute. Might come into play with heists though.

Only slightly more. LSC's money is more spread out throughout the mission. If done solo you'll earn as near as makes no difference the same as RR as well as similar rp.  LSC is a great take a break mission though and there should be more like it with much higher rewards.

Nope - it's fine as it is. And honestly, it's a bit over-rated - 'Defender' is more fun (IMO), doesn't take that long to do, and unlike RR, I've never had a quick run go 'tits-up' and wind up taking much longer than originally planned...

Not even close to the "main" source of income in this game. Look outside the box.. Is it the most convenient? Yeah, but, there are other missions that pay almost as much. Close enough for me.

f*ck, do any of you even like to kill, blow up , steal to get ahead?? Hell, I do... Just wanted handed to ya nice and easy? f*ck all that.

I don't mind letting the lower levels coming into RR with me. As long as they shut up and don't f*ck up the mission. I just kick em all after that.

It's also the only mission that doesn't cost any money.

Its kind of hard to do that when you're constantly being forced into Rooftop Rumble lobbies whenever you join quick job or contact mission.

Forgive us for wanting to get the most cash and RP for the time we put in, about 3 minutes or less, solo 5 minutes or less. That's how real players rank up. If u wanna drag out the ranking up progress continue to play random missions that pretty much waste your time in comparison to RR. If anything were to change it should be that u must be rank 75 or over to be invited in the first place, and not just be 75 to be the host.

I really have no interest in ranking that high or playing as many hours as you. I just find it laughable you think the only "real players" are the ones that play like you. I play to have fun; not to have an e-peen waving contest.

I don't want them to nerf RR (many of us have had the advantage of using it, future players should too) but I do think Rockstar will do something with it...

Obviously the payout for a mission and name for this was a mistake, meant to be allotted probably to "High Priority Case".

The $$$ payout from this is sweet, but it surely ruins their idea to make money by people buying GTA cash.

$1 buys you $100,000 GTA dollars does it not? This means by grinding RR, even on solo, most people can easily make more than $200K per hour, or in real life money $2 per hour.

So... I would expect they will nerf at least the dollar amount for the mission. If this 2 minute romp pays that much, what would we expect from drawn our heists? And yes they want people to do and be well rewarded by heists when they are released.

From an inflation or revenue reclamation perspective, other options for them I guess would be to 1) drastically raise the cost of new cars / apartments etc or 2) make DLC so great that people will buy it instead of these freebies...

In the meantime I continue to grind as much as I can to save $$$ for High Life DLC. Up to $3.25M at this point.

Rooftop rumble is the Parking garage and vice versa. During development they switched the names, rp and payouts for both missions. From what I understand it was a mistake that was not noticed until weeks after online came out.

I like grinding money missions, why would you have them take that away??

Op gets ripped for asking a legit question. When you can't start a deathmatch, race, capture or really any other mission for that matter, it gets old and old quick. Yes it may be the most lucrative mission but because everyone knows this, no one will spend any time on anything else. I personally think all payouts should be raised. Not an insane amount but enough for people to look and realize that there is a whole other world outside of rtr.

I can see how it may be frustrating to land in any mission repeatedly when trying to launch from the Quick Menu on the phone, but I can start whichever deathmatch, race, capture, contact mission, etc I want, from the Pause menu Jobs. If I want to play with Randy the Random, I set the matchmaking option to <Open> (Also, it's quicker than trying your luck at Random Quick Match)

I know you can do that but it doesn't really much matter when no one joins.I remember when I played on 360, survival was some happening sh*t and would fill up quick. Now you wait what seems forever for one person to join.

That's true..

I loved survivals. But, what I kept doing was wasting a lot of ammo. LOL

Sure, it pays nice and the RP is good.

But, you save a lot of ammo doing RR or other missions I believe. Especially when you struggle with Free Aim as I do. lol

I do wanna hit up the MAze Bank Survival. I haven't played that one yet.

I always picked up guns that spawned but what I did use didn't matter because it was fun. It may take longer than rr as well but that didn't matter. Too many people get caught up in how much time these missions take.

That's true,, and yes, survivals are fun.. Hell , it's all fun.. I like driving away from the professionals in RR... I don't have a buzzard and shooting em before I leave is fun, but, losing em driving is fun too.
