China Airlines Boeing 747-400, scale 1:200 by Hogan

2lawz1y.jpg

Boeing 747-8I (Intercontinental) in SunRise Livery, scale 1:200 by Hogan?

14qi4l.jpg

Boeing 787-8 DreamLiner, scale 1:200 by Hogan? Some how this one does not come with gears.

10nb5i1.jpg

Boeing 737 Max 8, scale 1:200 by Hogan. Features Boeing's Advanced Technology Winglets.

69e5iu.jpg

The 737 Max 8 at 1:200 scale is quite small compare to the other 1:200 scale models. Here is a box comparison between the 787-8 and 737 Max 8

2vdidzb.jpg

I also tried to take a bird's eye view shot of the boxes, but the design of the box makes it very difficult to get a clear picture, so I use Paint to draw a comparison.

Also the "Hogan?" on the 747-8I and 787-8 is, both do not have the Hogan logo under their belly. The 747-8i might be a Hogan because it includes Hogan landing gears.

The 787-8 however, does not comes with landing gears and does not have a Hogan logo under its belly, so I assume it's a Hogan.

737 Max 8 and 787-8 bird's eye view comparison

fu0y0i.jpg

Adding a 777-300ER soon and 777X once the model comes out.

Here is the 737 Max

All models here except the 747-400, have sawtooth chevrons.

On the note of scale models, I never really liked planes. Sure, you could make the plane, but then what? Not much in terms of scenery and the likes.

Hell, you could lose some pieces or break parts and still make something cool.

I liked the "buy war bonds" one.

Funny, I'm into model trains, but I get more of a kick making the layout itself as opposed to actually running the trains themselves.

I am looking to add 2 Geminijets 200 aircraft that have been released so far, they are 2 Southwest Airlines 737's, one in current livery and one in old gold mustard rocket livery.

I am hoping to see 2 new GJ200 moulds, one of them would be a 737 with scimitar winglets, I would Love to see one in Southwest Airlines colors as well as United's livery. I also hope to see GJ do classic airliners, one I wish to see is the Boeing 737-200 series, and a model I would love to add to my collection would be a 732 in Continentals last livery.

but for now, my next acquisition may be a GJ200 Continental Express ERJ-145(would love to see a 145XR in 1:200)

Some people have created whole airports for their scaled airliners. 1:400 and 1:500 seem to be the best scales for building airports as there are many accessories made for said scales ranging from airport service vehicles to buildings and hangars. Some of these modellers even go as far as making their own accessories and buildings and even include ground lighting.

Check out the following links to see what has been done in regards to making scenery and stuff for their planes:

Nice!! I did Revell plastic models when I was kid. Mostly fighter planes and some tanks. Sadly they all got destroyed in duty.

Usually at New Year´s Eve :D

The plastic soldier kits were awesome too, building sand castles and bombing each others troops.

I still remember my favorite plane, F-4C Phantom. This thread makes me want to purchase it.

I've got a bunch of model cars though; mostly 1:16 scale.

but I'm not about to start a whole thread for sharing model cars, so I'll just post here to say "cool planes."

so. cool planes, man :^:

It's attached on the right pylon instead of the Aim-54 (seen on the left side wih the Aim-9). The payload seems kind of unreal for the F-14B (I don't think it would carry Aim-54 and Paveways at the same time), but she's a mean Cat nevertheless ;)
