How to post Images?

First upload the desired image(s) to an image hosting site:

 

http://www.tinypic.com

http://www.imgur.com

 

After it is uploaded copy paste the URL (note: it has to end with an imagine extension e.g .png, .jpg, .gif)

Hit the little tree symbol as shown above.

 

V1Ei3ju.png

 

Click "Ok" and you can go ahead and post the image.

Everytime I go to post an image in a comment I keep getting a warning that reads ''you can't use that extension''

every time I try to post an image I do everything right and then it wont let me press ok, the image properties box just stays there as if my computer has froze but it hasn't because I can still move the box around the screen, can anyone help, its my problem I know but id appreciate it if someone could help, thanx.

for me it just shows the broken image after i hit "ok"
