A 1990's GTA 4 would be perfect. It matches the gritty story, atmosphere, and overall feel completely.

It could have worked, but I don't think it would be a fan favorite for many.

 

Although, I would have loved to see how different LC could have been.

The irony of that is LC would still feel more alive than modern LS. Red coats and muskets yo.

Yes! I would honestly love this. I want to see a modern/futuristic day New York. I want to see the most famous tourist attractions crumble to dust.

If GTA IV was set in the 90's? We would see a twin towers resemblance, east coast rappers, yuppies and crackheads.
