You should put the genre in the title IMO. Cross genre just doesn't work and will turn into a war. Just some friendly advice.

Paul McCartney - Band on the Run
The Beatles - Abbey Road
Paul McCartney - Ram
The Beatles - The White Album
Paul McCartney - Flowers in the Dirt
George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Paul McCartney - McCartney/Flaming Pie
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
The Doors - The Doors
The Beatles - Revolver

I rarely like an entire album. I mostly like some of them and think the other ones are meh. Queen for example is my second favorite band but I don't really universally like any of their studio albums.

I'm not gonna try to rank my favorite albums in order, so it's categorized randomly by band

Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here
Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd-Animals
Pink Floyd-meddle
Modest Mouse-The Lonesome Crowded West
Modest Mouse-The Moon and Antarctica
Modest Mouse- Good News for People Who Love Bad News
Led Zeppelin- LZ3
Led Zeppelin-Physical Graffiti
Led Zeppelin-Presence
Styx-Pieces of Eight

EDIT: Holy crap, This Is a Long Drive For Someone With Nothing to Think About by Modest Mouse has grown on me immensely since I made this list. So epic. So add that in there too.

I'd agree with you on Wish You Were Here, best of mid-70s Floyd, then Animals perhaps and Dark Side / The Wall / Meddle

UFO, I'd say as Eddie Trunk would, Strangers in the Night for their best tracks, and best known, but perhaps Obsession from 78 being the first I heard with all Schenker songs.

I was waiting for someone to mention an MJ album.

I will reserve this post to maybe add in my own in the future. But some MJ albums would be in there for sure.
