They may be set with Med. or by-hand, which is hard when you don't see the model, furthermore when names are different (not like on PC games).

We don't use MAJEST1Cs map instead SALC because of this annoying bug when you move mouse:

Its oversmoothed because i forgot to decrease Weld level.
Have you heard before about LOD Indexes in SA? I don't have that issue when I moving mouse - seems your hands are growing not from correct place. Fix that issue before start throwing sh*t at others

This might be the problem, welding the verticles is correct, but the auto smooth part is absent. Do as presented above, and it'll surely look better.

It looks good, I'm impressed. Fix dat front bump too and you're presto. I suggest using PPSSPP as a reference for smoothing groups. Don't forget to add reflections as well, I suggest using level 30 but 50 looks good too
