The SP team are probably working on a patch to fix the glitches that the patches caused.

Don't wish to alienate anyone, but what game breaking issues are present in SP? I'm not saying anyone's wrong, but I play quite often no major bug, has ever affected me.

That guy is from the MP team, he's just searching for the casino files, so they put them exclusively in online.

The bastard has a picture of himself behind him. It appears that R* can't afford a mirror, despite getting a billion quid in revenue from GTA V. Looks like Sam and Dan spent that $1.5 billion on whisky and crack.

That is the SP "team", not the MP team.

The MP team has 100 workers, with 1000 in reserve.

This is the MP team:

Well, for me there is the spawning glitch (on Xbox 360) with the cars, and nothing but Convertibles, Jeeps and SUVs are spawning. There is also this weird glitch where the map will turn black or blink all of a sudden for less than a second and return to normal. Another glitch is where it looks like something black is in front of the screen for a few seconds when either in an aircraft (it looks like black dots floating one behind the other) and when driving fast in a regular vehicle (about the same as the glitch I mentioned about the map turning black), not sure if it's hardware related though.

I'm thinking they'll release a patch just for SP when hell freezes over. Even when they release the so-called big SP DLC, I bet you anything there will still be a bunch of fixes for Online.

Fix the f*ckin cops

No.

We already let you online guys pay us 5k, but we are never going to reduce our amount of force on you online guys, or SP players for that matter!

We're lenient enough on you online players as it is.

The SP team are probably working on a patch to fix the glitches that the patches caused.

Ha, that's probably true. Next thing we know is that the SP DLC has been delayed into 2015.

It would be nice, I like Online, but I don't like how they are putting at least 80% of their focus into it. It should be evenly divided between single and multiplayer.

But an SP-only patch would just be the SP fixes that are already in the patches, so there wouldn't be a difference.

If nothing else it would be a gesture, to show the fans of Single Player (Or as they're cleverly referring to it, Story Mode, which makes you feel like you're only playing half the game you bought) that their concerns are being met fairly, and that it's still about providing people with an enjoyable experience, and not just about selling cash cards.

Seriously, Rockstar's atention to singleplayer it's a shame. I really hope they're saving their SP fixes and release them along the DLC.

Is there any permanent fix to the car spawn issue, I see Cavalcades everywhere and its getting annoying. I experienced it in my first play through and now its ruining my second.

It would never happen. Cockstargames are too busy having meetings on how they are gunna make GTA Online a seperate game franchise from Grand Theft Auto.

Forget about it because it has been confirmed that they don't care about single player. As I said many times ago, GTA is dead. GTA V is great example how to ruin one of the best game series on the world.

However, I hope that rockstar are keeping a lot of ideas up their sleeves, ready to be rolled out with the SP DLC, it's probably their way of making the DLC seem more exciting

It would never happen. Cockstargames are too busy having meetings on how they are gunna make GTA Online a seperate game franchise from Grand Theft Auto.

After many meetings and negotiations, we decided to release GTA Online for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 as a standalone copy with improved  graphics, gameplay and many new features. GTAV's Story Mode will not be released and will remain only playable on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Thanks.

Sincerely, Rockstar Games.

They would rather keep fixing glitches for Online when all the players want to exploit it more.

I'd love this glitch.  As property missions are f*cking ANNOYING and I don't need cash anymore as I have 2.1 billion dollars for each character.  If I stopped getting text messages and phone calls I'd be SO happy.

It's something to do when you have nothing better to do, and at least it was some interaction with the business, reminding me that I owned it. They were irritatingly frequent though. Now they're completely gone, and the gameworld feels more lifeless as a result.

And the random events! I enjoyed robbing those armored trucks.

I heard this problem occurs if you don't clear the Altruist camp correctly.

SP is pretty close to perfect

That's not true. Maybe if you played SP a bit more, then you'll understand. There are still a lot of glitches in SP.

Now, if themasterfocker is correct about the separate teams for MP and SP, which are, according to him, the same size, then I'm fine with the online fixes, but only if SP has the same amount of fixes online does. If R* can't do that, they might as well make a SP only patch.

I just got the recent patch, and my SP has got even more glitches now, and all SP got was 1 fix. Ridiculous.

Why would SP need patches when Online is the one with problems? Especially since it's not under unique servers.

Wait, so SP is glitch free?

It's not.

Online may have a lot of glitches, but both have teams that are the same in numbers. How come SP only gets 1 fix then? Is the SP team helping the MP team all day, or are they actually working on SP fixes?

Both modes have a lot of glitches, not just online. Both modes need the same amount of attention, and, at this point, the SP team and their actions doesn't really support a "R* is working on SP" argument.

I think you either misunderstood me, or I said something wrong. If it's the latter, apologies.

It's never going to be 50/50. No game is ever 50/50.

There's more resources on one side than there are in the other. That's how it works, and that's how it will always work. As long as one needs more attention than the other, it will have more resources.

I'd say the split for GTA V would be around 65/35, in favor of Online.

No, this isn't because the focus is Online. It's because Online needs more attention.

Online is trying to be a RPG-like thing. It's also massive in scale and ambition, and therefore requires more resources. It has constant updates because it needs them.

SP, meanwhile, is a set entity. It's not continually active. It's not always on. It doesn't get affected by millions of players. It requires less attention because what you get is what you get. Nothing can change unless you (R*) change it, which isn't true of Online.

Now, you may be thinking, "65/35!? That's ridiculous!" It's really not, however.

That 35% should still be over 100 people. You don't need 200+ people to fix bugs in something which doesn't continually change.

As of right now, I'd say the balance is at 90/10 in favor of Online, and it's gradually declining to 65/35. I mean, people, Online was just beyond broken, what, a month ago?

We got 2 SP updates in a row. It may not seem like much, but after no SP updates for 3 months? It means stuff is gradually getting better.

On a side note: It seems, from my observations, that the glitches on PS3 are much more prevalent than on Xbox 360. If this is actually right, then it's not as simple as "fix bug R*!"

Look at Skyrim.

Forget about it because it has been confirmed that they don't care about single player. As I said many times ago, GTA is dead. GTA V is great example how to ruin one of the best game series on the world.

Confirmed that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Do you post anything that's not stupid?

Yeah and what bugs are there that would cause you to have headaches? Have you even played online? No. Because you don't like the attention it's getting because of it's continuous f*cking problems which you people don't seem to understand. I think you should be grateful that you are even getting SP DLC at this point.

One thing I absolutely hate on SP is DLC content not loading. Even if I quick save while inside a dlc car, like a turismo most of the time it takes multiple resets for the content to load.

I never stated to not care about SP. I care about SP myself, but you have to give Rockstar a bit more time till they actually fully stabilize the online component. Theres a thousand problems in that part alone. SP doesn't have much, almost none tbh. I haven't experience any bugs/glitches in SP recently.

To put this into perspective, the online game service does have myriad issues that affect that gameplay in real time and since real time is the nature of online gaming, it requires not only attention but prompt and clearly visible attention.

To their credit, Rockstar furnish us with an agenda which summarises the content of each fix.

Unfortunately,  this is a two edged sword. By demonstrating the large amount of attention that R* themselves are devoting to the online issues, they give the impression that this is disproportional to the overall problem and that SP gamers are being short changed.
