I saw that there's an R&B topic, but it's been dead since 2010 with only four posts (the OP's also banned).

Any R&B fans out there? Maybe this can be a good place for us to suggest new songs and artists that are foreign to some of us. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post songs/artists you'd like to share.

This is kind of R&B a little bit right?

My gym teacher used to play this on repeat during class. By the end of the Trimester we were all pretty much experts and singing along to every lyric. Good times :)

Damnnnn, I haven't heard that in a long time. :O

But yeahh, that's 90's R&B! That song's actually one of Blackstreet's biggest hits also.

Great topic man. 70s/80s R&B/Soul is my thing. I had the fortune of owning a sh*tload on vinyl until a few years ago. Vinyl sounds a little old fashioned I know but it got the job done if you know what I mean. :p

I love R&B/Soul/Funk, but only the classic stuff (60s thru the early 90s).

For me, R&B was at its height during the 70s.

Lol, I forgot this topic existed, yet I'm the OP. Weeknd just dropped an untitled track as SXSW, which I must say sounds really good. I can't wait to hear a CDQ version of this song. I'll say this right now, he's one of the best R&B singers out today.

Yeah I had to go back in time a bit before finding this thread lol. Surely there's more people listening to Soul and R&B. I listen mostly to rap, but when I don't listen to rap, I love some Soul/R&B and Funk. I also listen to rock aka ACDC and Def Leppard style, not System of a Down style.

I'm getting some white soul in here:

Unfortunately, this is the best I could find on the tube. Look it up on spotify, sounds pimp.

Norwegian man with the soul of a thousand men

There's not much on him on youtube, so this'll have to do. Listen to his voice, jesus christ:

Man. Where did all the good music go? (I know the answer, it's a rhetorical question and I want to reminisce about the 'ol days)
