  • Fixed multiple exploits where players could duplicate vehicles.
  • Fixed multiple exploits where players were able to move a variety of non-allowed vehicles into Online.
  • Fixed an issue where Armoured Trucks could continually spawn.
  • Fixed an issue where players were receiving too much RP after Races.
 
Well, it's about time. Wonder if they'll start removing Buffallo Mk 2's from garages, or if they'll just leave them and add it to SSAutos at a later date.

  • Fixed an issue where if a player drank Whisky in their apartment until they passed out, this could cause a clone to appear who would then attack them.

Aw I never knew you could do that. It could've been pretty cool if R* rolled with it. Like some crazy existential sh*t where the clone is a physical manifestation of your conscience brought about from having too much whiskey or something.
But patching it is cool too I guess.

They would've at least tried to fix the freezing issue...I've frozen 3 times already

Seriously?  Look, when you really examine it, isn't it truly more important to fix a ... bug... that would allow clones to attack when you are the most vulnerable?  That is, passed out drunk on whiskey?  In the words of my 8th grade gym teacher; "Search your feelings; you know it to be true"

 

Also... how can a bug like that exist on accident?  Seems impossible.

Every time a player likes or dislikes content they will receive 50 RP.

 

 

Cruising with fellow players in a car/plane gives 200Rp Alone...

How long before a new car dupe glitch is found...

Give it a day or two at the most. Then we will have a slime ball Youtuber begging for comments, likes and favorites after he takes five minutes of a seven minute video explaining how he needs likes and will do give aways. The last two minutes will be spend not clearly telling the steps then someone from my crew will make a how to for those that don't speak youtuber. :)

So much for them leaving some fun harmless glitches in.

 

IDK about this patch. I'll wait to play it and see what everyone else thinks, but these notes are a bit weak.

 

Nothing about matchmaking, crate drops, tanks (insurance) and other well known issues are mentioned here.

 

And did they really remove the firetruck hose? The hell?

Fixed an issue where players could occasionally be given the incorrect amount of RP for beating Race World Records

 

why is that if every race WR is cheated?

I'm still waiting for passive mode to be fixed. You can still be shot and and be killed by NPC's when in passive mode. They should make it so that when you are in passive, you should not be able to shoot or hurt other players with your guns, just like when they are in passive mode.

Please let me know if I'm wrong, but I honestly have never heard one complaint about fire truck griefing. Anyone else? Where would Rockstar have gotten that idea to remove it?

I loved the fire truck. Just wondering but what exactly are you going to miss doing in the fire truck? ;-P

There was only 1 reason for the fire truck shooting water. To grief. Do the ambulances didn't give out free health replenishment btw if not then why should the fire truck do anything extra?

Don't get me wrong tho I'm gonna miss the fire truck's water a lot but I'll openly admit it because of griefing plain and simple. :-)

If fixing things that are broken results in removing all your fun you are finding your fun in all the wrong places. I'll be perfectly honest, there is only about three bullets in that entire list that will have any effect on me at all. Primarily, the race payout concerns me. As for the remainder, most of them I can safely say that I didn't even know that they were an issue. However, just because they did not effect me does not mean they should not be fixed. Every little issue that they manage to effectively correct makes this game just a touch better in quality.

I feel sorry for those of you that see a huge list of fixes like this and think it is a bad thing.

Only curiosity for me is the lack of Capture Creator. This tells me there is more to come. I would expect a DLC package to be ready for DL in the next couple days.

To each their own. There were a lot of people who loved bringing in cars from singleplayer. Besides the duping threads, this hit the MODified crew hard. They can't do what they liked to do anymore. It wasn't hurting anyone, so how was it any different than enjoying races?

I just had a few spawn. Stopped going after them after the 3rd one. It's only semi-patched.

Finally they introduced this. Loving the fixes. Have been waiting for long to have these. Lester ability sounds cool. Too bad we don't have any updates on Casino and Gambling.

Most retarded changes:
- Fixed an exploit where a player could shoot water from the firetruck hose. 
- Increased price when calling Lester to remove your wanted star by $100.


Those are not in the notes. Just wanting to be clear.
Makes you wonder though what good is a patch notes if they don't list everything they patch.

Somehow missed the best part of this update.

  • Fixed an exploit where players were able to use weapons within their apartment and garage to kill other players.
  • Vote screens now progress when a Job has received a majority vote.

Are you referring to the "10 second countdown" ? Try hiding until it reaches zero :)
