OP's looking at this creatively, not realistically, he knows they probably won't add new buildings, but if they did where would they be is the question.

Nothing in his post suggests he expects anything else other than new properties being created in currently empty areas. What post did you read!?

THIS!

There are no apartment type buildings outside of the city, I can't believe R* will just cram some more apartments in LS.

No, like Brian B's comment said "there will be new apartments"

He obviously meant there will be new apartment units.

They will just put them in already existing buildings...

OK, if I'm right you have to stay in Los Santos

Why obviously?
Don't be so pessimistic!
I do think the reference to apartments rather than the more general properties means they'll be in L S itself though

The point of the thread was if they are new, where? You can find undeveloped / partialy developed property all over the map

There are a ton of properties out there with phone numbers.  You call the numbers and someone hangs up or there is a weird message that they're currently down for renovations or something.

The way I see it is if it has a sign in online but the response on the phone is the same in SP as in MP then you have a winner.

I'll stay there either way...

And as some one who worked on both San Andreas and IV I'm 100% sure that they will not add new buildings/locations, maybe a few minor buildings but no terrain changes(for roads leading up to a property...

I follow that, but you couldn't describe those properties as apartments really?

As long as there is a 10 car apartment near the beach, I'm fine.

I love the idea of new buildings being constructed, but based off the simple fact that GTAO takes place before Story Mode (chronologically), I doubt they will do any significant map changes (if any). I suspect they'll open up new space in existing buildings, but of course I would love to believe that they'll be building the city up.

you do realize they can just add markers and interiors to existing buildings?

no need for any physical buildings to be added.

I'm not expecting new buildings, but it'd be cool.

I'd recommend hunting for unused apartment buildings in the cities. Maybe ones with small lobby interiors and garage doors like the current ones. Though it's possible they could just be different apartments in the same buildings.

I think there's a nice low rise apartment building over on the east side of the coastal highway just north of the pier that looks like it could be classed as high end and there is a garage door that leads underground
I hope that's one of the new apartments.

@RSGCrew05</a> "<em>new high-end apartment options</em>". That could imply a multiplicity of things, however, I don't think it directly relates to the introduction of new properties given the context.

To clarify, there will be new high-end apartments as a part of the High Life update.

@Wildeyedjokr</a> I don't know if you'll be able to answer this, but are we talking about brand new apartments, with new looks/interiors. Or simply the current "High End Apartment" (200-400k) in new locations?

These are brand new apartments, so we are talking about new interior as well.

I don't want to spoil everything for you, though, so stay tuned for the update!

There will be no SINGLE new apartment in Blaine Country, only in Los Santos. And the NEW apartments are already there, they just can't be bought yet.

This looks like a nice place for an apartment. It's not too far from Del Perro but ti's closer to the water and looks like a nicer building and has everything they'd need.

still people not believing there will be new appartments?
Not neccesary non existence buildings but sure as hell other locations where already are buildings located.

for example i checked all high end appartement garages and all of them have the number 5601 as a mark. i've seen other buildings/garages with that number and with lights as well... i have good hopes for it

Could this be one (ignore the for lease advert, it was the garage door that caught my eye)?

Blinkers - things worn by horses to blind them from everything except their single course.
