How to use LOD's

I got Majestic's VCS map, and the LOD's are scattered all around the map, including the objects. So I struggled for hours to days to fix the LOD's on the map. Can anyone help me? How would I be able to fix the LOD's to the map, so it works and doesn't display blurred models all over the place. :p

I figured out how to get LOD's to work, but once its placed in, the game crashes. Now, if I reload the map in MED, the LOD isn't on the map, and its picked up as a LOD in the IPL AND IDE... Why does it crash? Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks. ;)

which game? i asume VCS map is for San Andreas, so you mean you figured out how to get LOD's to work?
you know how to link to LOD ipl's? and that LOD's don't need collisions models when they're installed correct?

I figured out everything of the LOD indexing. :p But now I'm stuck with a new problem, whenever I change an model, and the LOD, all models around my new model gets their value of Draw distance set to 0. So you only see the LOD's and not the real model (keep in mind the OTHER objects, not the new imported one).
