I've maybe listened his songs in radio SF-UR maybe.

He was really underrated as an artist considering that he helped with the invention of the house music genre. Great artist and it's a shame that he had to die, but he had a good run I think. He was 59 years old after all.

So sad to hear this. Dude was a true pioneer - he put house on the map. His music brings back great memories of those nights in the clubs. RIP

Heard the bad news last night :(

 

Well, in fact apparently he is the true Godfather of "House."  He was playing some unique original sounds in a particular club in Chicago. They called it House music almost like a band that plays in the same club every Friday is the house-band. So other promoters that wanted to attract the same crowds in other parts of the city would say they play House music at them. 

 

For those of you who think you don't know him, the first track the OP posted is on SF-UR in San Andreas (I think)

Rest In Peace to one of the founding fathers of House music.

Your Love will forever remain as one of the most nostalgic songs to me.
