I'm loving all these roleplays! definitely going to try each and every one just fyi ;)

Lately I've been playing Michael as a normal father who just does normal things, going for bike rides in the morning, coming home and watching TV, drinks some green juice and goes for a jog before deciding to take Jimmy out for some tennis, it's a lot more entertaining than it sounds.

Dress up Michael and Frank in their tuxedos, turn on 'Level 1 Slow Aim' and some thunder-y rain, drive to the West Vinewood bank with Mike's JB 700, and climb up the staircase at the far left of the building.

Walk onto the balcony, get out our combat mg's, and unleash hellz.

I try to make micheal as douchebaggy as possible. I make micheal have long hair and a beard, and make him wear an open shirt or polo shirt, and sunglasses, like this:

0_0.jpg

Then i go to peds and press the right button, making micheal say, "you define everything that's wrong with this place" and "you make me wanna puke".

Something I just started doing is following cop chases on the BMX. I get on a BMX with my middle finger equipped as my weapon, search for LSPD's finest and when I see them going after somebody I follow them while cutting through and jumping over obstacles. When they stop to kill the suspects, I provoke them by jumping over their car to get their attention and then they're chasing me. You can do so much with the BMX and Scorcher, but it's also challenging, because you're constantly trying to avoid any contact.

It's so easy to get killed if you don't use shortcuts and obstacles to your advantage. I give myself extra points for going at them head on and then jumping over their cars. Getting them to crash into stuff is great too. It's probably my favorite thing to do in the game right now.

I gave Micheal a back story i gave him full bread and the slicker hair and pretend that he was max payne after what happened at the end of Max payne 3 and that Max couldn't be a an undercover agent police officer or whatever he was anyways that he turned a life of crime killed anyone that pissed him off slightly I gave him a trailer in sandy shores and one day Max deicide the get rid of the one thing that wrecked his life the law enforcement so i killed a cop and some how i didn't die intimately from helicopters swat teams ETC. anyway's after he got revenge on the cops I jumped in on a train and where ever it stop's he's getting off (if anything is wrong about the max payne's 3 story line sorry i haven't played MP3 in years)

Man, this thread is giving me so many idea's! it's awesome :D

I love getting really into the world and driving via road rules, and being generally realistic about the way I go about things (I honestly think some of the design of the game orbited around this play style, it works so well) and role-playing Franklin as a crazy adrenaline junkie doing crazy stunts, when you play the game realistically doing stuff like flooring it down a side road feels so much more exciting because you actually feel like what you're doing is dangerous and illegal.

Or maybe I get a little too into this game.

Quick Disclaimer: Mods, I searched for other topics that are similar to this one but I could any. So forgive me if there is a page similar to this.

For those who love to play through GTA V's storyline in a totally realistic manner, this is the page for you. You can list anything about the way you realistically play, from something as small as not attacking an armored car in the open, to something as big as changing MFT's apperance after a major crime in hopes of them not getting id'ed by a witness. Enjoy! :beerhat:

Staying true to the characters' personalities and tendencies in gameplay.

No hookers for Michael after "Reuniting the Family".

I never commit crimes in the open as Michael or Franklin... if I genuinely do, which is rare but perhaps they're with Trevor ("he asked for helped"), then they wear masks, use a stolen car (never one purchased with ID), and then torch it. I never let them get ID'ed by police. If they do, I restart to my last save.

I also never die. If I die, I restart to last save.

Trevor... I justify anything because he's a psychopath, but I still play him like the CEO of TPE. So, massive Lost shootout on the streets or killing a hundred cops to steal from an armoured car? No problem. But just randomly killing 20 civilians in downtown Vinewood. Unproductive.

What else....

I'll try do their hair realistically... so Michael starts with his default look, and then after his family leaves, be becomes a bit of a bum and grows some stubble... and then once he goes into exile his hair grows long.

I do the same for Trevor's hair... but I don't do the same for his beard anymore, or Michael's beard after stubble just because Trevor looks so much better with a full beard I just start him with it, and Michael looks bad with a beard so even in exile I just leave him with stubble.

Cars? Franklin likes bikes and American muscle cars based his personal vehicles, so I usually bias him to that a bit. Michael is all German engineering, so his family Audi, BMW, Mini, and a Porsche Cayenne and 911 in the garage. Trevor is all business so he has Rolls Royce, Jaguar, GWagon, Range Rover stolen from Madrazo, bike (not chopper) stolen from the Lost random kidnapping event), and a good old Merryweather canis/jeep and Vapid/Ford heavyduty truck for utility...

franklin never wears suits... he never randomly during character switch ever wears a suit, and if you own a suit sometimes he'll wear just the pants with a shirt and look dumb while riding a bike, so he's either t shirt and shorts or shirts and jeans guy. Trevor I always wear in a suit now cuz he's TPE CEO.

when he has a full beard and wears a tan suit, he looks so much like the drug kingpin from the Miami Vice remake (his clown tattoo looks copied from the ARYB guy in the movie too

I always give him tattoos based on the story. so, Imperial Douche when he buy's his first property other than airfield, FCK COPS after my first random 5-star escape, the Scorpian after the export/import business cuz it seems like a bad ass tattoo for a kingpin/nickname 'Desert Scorpian'

same for Michael and Franklin. Michael starts getting tattoos after he goes into exile because that's when he's really at his most psycho. he gets the family tattoos because he misses his family, and the double gun tattoos after Paleto Bay cuz it's just a cowboy shootout (and when he wakes up from sleeping with a gun and no shirt, startled, in his empty house, he looks awesome with that tattoo. Franklin gets brotherhood tattoo after Ending C, Faith after his first successful heist, a Families tattoo after saving Lamar... Trevor erases his Michael tattoo and gets Sin there instead and also Betrayer on his chest after Bury The Hatchet to always remember Michael's treachery... i'm probably forgetting some but every single tattoo has a story and I chose a moment in the game when I thought it makes sense to get that tattoo

i'll role play my free roaming, too... like, i'll spend a lot of time scouting heist or set-up escape routes, ambushes... i'll do random things to pretend the properties have more gameplay, like i'll sometimes go to Paleto Bay and steal RonOIL tankers and take them to the airfield, or steal lumber semitrucks from Paleto Forest and take them to the import/export to do new construction... i'll sometimes stop at gas station, diners, etc when i do road trips

it's all gameplay-pointless but it's the most enjoyable thing in GTA V i think because the world is so incredibly detailed, the shapes and colours of the buildings are jaw dropping, and I think the game is much better when you really try to put some thought into how you play

if you do none of this and just quickly shoot and rocket launch your way through the game, i'd say most of the game was wasted

it's a much better game, whether in the story or online, when you really take the time to stop and appreciate the surroundings... go on a motorbike cruise from diner to diner with your real friends or drive a semitruck cross country stopping at gas stations

it's an incredible game world if you take the time to appreciate it

CEO of Trevor Philips Enterprises, in his office looking at blueprints, schematic, and posting plans on a planning wall, and the coldly inspiring Pause Menu music is in the background.

"Cold damn this music is cold but inspiring it's coldly inspiring and it inspired the greatest ambush hijack ever!

So your buddy Trevor eh was in the Trevor Philips Industries HQ in my empire office and I was working in front of my bulletin board and stretching out maps on my desk and pinning photos on the wall just like Michael and Trevor eh but I run a serious business unlike those amateurs so I got meth cooking to the side, guns loading out the back window into farm trucks, stock news on the old CRT cuz I gotta keep my bonds diversified and running my TPI empire conglomerate you know the title aint saying CEO for nothing eh!

But it was this music oooooooh soooooo coooooooold inspiring man it made me think about my legacy! I gotta really put more passion into my work cuz if you aren't yourself then who are you, if you don't love your work then what'ca got, amigo?! So that's how I came up with it. I was planning out my approach for the Paleto Bay bank set-up and we needed some tig 'ole bitties ooops I mean some big 'ole guns... you know real guns, not the kind you suck like a Werthers. So I needed to take a military hardware convoy but I didn't just want to just use some rockets or something messy, it had to be perfect! A well oiled machine of a plan! And the way I see it, this country was built for and by oil, so I was just doing my patriotic duty to make sure my plan was well oiled machine eh! This music just really inspired me eh guys... sent shivers down my spine like ice but it inspired greatness! The greatest ever strategy of Trevor Philips Industries!

What your buddy Trevor here did was first steal a RonOIL dubsta and throw on my work clothes and a RoinOIL hat, and I spend a few days driving around the Grand Senora desert scouting for a good ambush spot! Get it? The locals will just think I'm a RonOIL worker! HA HA! So this cover lets me driver around and act a bit weird without attracting suspicion. So, I drive around as a RonOIL man scouting the oil desert listening to Gaslamp Killer's Nissim and BAM! it hits me... a cactus but also my idea!

I choose along the west edge of the desert in front of the copper plant because the plant noise will help cover my ramming approach, the nearby oil derricks fits my cover, and just a few hundred meters north I can quickly get off the main road onto the dirt road that follows the train tracks east, and this provides me with a fast dirt road that has no traffic so I can quickly get the hardware truck back to HQ quickly and discretely! I climb up top the oil derricks to watch the military hardware convoy route, and I keep driving around a little so the locals and the army gets used to seeing me working out here, so later I don't raise suspicion when I begin setting up my ambush.

A few days later when I'm ready and it's a couple hours until dawn, I drive out to the copper processing plant, and in front of the gate I put down a sticky bomb. Then, about 5 or 6 cars lengths back, I put down another sticky bomb! Then, I put my armoured RoinOIL dubsta up on the western hill. You need to practice it a few times so that you can get the timing perfect, so that soon as the convoy comes into view and the first jeep passes the 3rd tree on the right, if you floor it and hit the stocky bomb triggers 3 seconds later, the jeeps will both perfectly explode but the hardware truck will be perfectly between the two bombs and unharmed, but at that exact moment you will ram into it! A half second too soon or late with either the gas or trigger and the perfect explosion/ramming will not work!! The timing has to be perfect, so that's why you have a RonOIL job as cover so the locals don't get suspicious while you're practicing -- they'll just think you're working. Trevor is so smart eh?!

I wait until just before sunset so that it's dark when I attack but the sun comes up as I begin to make my getaway. Then, I wait for the convoy. I watched it on the map... I'm waiting for the first jeep to pass the 3rd tree; I know that if I floor it then and drive a straight line, I will perfectly hit the barracks truck as the two jeeps explode!!!

So, I backed up on the hill, so the the first military convoy truck approaches the copper gate, I floor it! I trigger the sticky bombs and they perfectly blow up the front and rear escort trucks! By this point I'm 50 MPH and I smash into the driver's side door of the convoy, smashing the driver. I jump out quickly and put two in his dizzy and confused head! I plant another C4 onto my ramming truck to get rid of the evidence and jump through the now shattered window of the military hardware truck, push the driver over, and I quickly drive past the flaming jeeps, trigger my last sticky bombs, and escape before any cops are alerted, and go under the train overpass and make a quick right turn to follow the totally empty and quiet dirt road alongside the train tracks that l can follow safely back to HQ, with setting sun in front of me now in a beautiful picturesque moment of ambushing glory, and I drive off into the sunrise!"

I always try to avoid stealing easily available weapons or cars and spend money to obtain them.
And, only while playing story missions straight without much diversions, unless necessary.
It adds some much needed difficulty, even if not realistic enough though.

Before the Big Score I had MTF all shave their heads and faces. Can't leave any type of trace behind, even a single hair falling could lead to them getting caught in the long run. Plus it looked badass

you can see my stats of my most recent file here

http://socialclub.ro.../michael/crimes

as you can see i've never died, Michael and Franklin have never really commit many crime. i basically killed 0 civilians or innocent people the whole game as M or F. but it's hard to keep your stats perfectly at 0 because gang members like the Lost are "innocents" or when you "stun gun/KO" someone it still counts as a "Kill" but you can see their kills as driver, vehicular kills are pretty close to 0 and the few points cannot be avoided because they come from gang members, merryweather, etc during story missions

i put a lot of thought into my businesses and cars, too

mostly for Trevor ... i put a lot of care into choosing the best cars for Trevor, and creating a perfect picture for each business to represent the 'story' of the CEO of TPI

for example, every single car has a story. and every single car was STOLEN from a TPI enemy...

my Baller? it's the one we stole from Madrazo mission. the two Dubstas? stolen from both Ortega and ONeal missions. the Corquette? stolen from Cheng (present from Franklin) Vapids were also stolen from Ortega (they only drive Dubstas, Vapid trucks, and that old Firebird esque car I forget the name). my bike? stolen from the Lost during a random kidnap mission.

when I went to buy the Property, I even made it a special event. I chose specific clothes and chose a specific vehicle to go buy the Property with, and took a picture to remember that moment. the pics below are from the exact moment I bought the Property, with the clothes and vehicle I use for that business

CEO of Trevor Philips Industries, and his array of businesses and cars

export/import and a good hauling 4X4 SUV to keep boxes of drugs or guns wet inside the cab (notice the Madrazo license plate? I kept it from the Madro mission!! very rare)

0_0.jpg

my TPI heli for assisting TPI imports/exports

my hunting business and my OTHER Vapid truck (notice the differences such as the bullbars)

my hangar with my barracks and merryweather cannis for protecting my business interests and escorting TPI employees to and from our business interests (i always always wear my grey hoodie and gray camo pants for merryweather missions)

0_0.jpg

meth lab and desert roller

only one without a good story is the Enus... actually every single other car was very thought out and chosen based on the story. but after I was done... i randomly did that wedding escort mission and got the Enus... and i never really liked Enus much before though I had used a Enus for Trevor in the city before as his CEO car on a past file... and my very very first time I played GTA V, I found a Enus somehow in the desert within minutes of first playing as Trevor, and I used it for the TPI mission. anyhow, i had no plan tho to use a Enus for TPI. but then i got this one from the wedding mission... and I ended up driving it around the desert for probably 25-30 hours straight! i just did nothing in gta v but fight lost for a few weeks, and i fell in love with the enus. it's such a fun car to drive, especially across the desert.

it's my favorite car for just general cruising around and roleplaying, for example, here's my drive from my strip club out to the desert... i have some business to do... i have to leave LS and head into Paleto Bay, pick up some drugs from the lumber mill (a new gang took over the Ballas operation), and bring them back to my meth lab

leaving LS always by night to use the darkness as cover

0_0.jpg

stopping for gas... i love highway gas stations

0_0.jpg

breakfast at the diner!

0_0.jpg

sun is rising now as I reach the Grand Senora... gotta stop by the desert scrapyard first, they got the meth packages i need to trade for the weed at the lumber mill

0_0.jpg

filling up the tank before making the drive across Blaine County and down into Paleto

0_0.jpg

ah paleto.. stopping for snacks!

0_0.jpg

at my destination finally... im pretty tired.....

0_0.jpg

stopping by Dollar Pills... if we gonna cook more meth when I get back, we need ingredients!

0_0.jpg

put RonOIL in your tank! filling up cuz that drive back into the mountains burns a lot of gas (the hill is actually pretty steep, semitrucks are so slow up it) T definitely super tired now

0_0.jpg

i drove all night back into the Grand Senora and finally here... stopping at my favorite roadside pitstop but some breakfast orange juice but they're closed :(

0_0.jpg

aaaaand I'm back! got the weed! got the ingredents!

Chef!

time to cook some meth!

0_0.jpg

after a few hard days of work, time for a small highway cruise to relax.... and kill some bikers...

and the office lol with my unique Lost bike (different than the normal ones they randomly ride with special "The Lost" leather seats)

Well I definitley never commit random crimes when I'm Michael, with the excpetion of the random events around the map. Franklin, only early on in the story when you've got nothing to earn through story missions. Trevor? Whenever I can.

And for the heists:
Jewellery Store- Smart, simply because Michael is in it for this one score he isn't willing to take too many risks.

Merryweather- The docks. Only because the in-game radio and internet news bulletins treat this one as what happened regardless of which approach you took.

FIB- Roof. It would be pretty easy for Michael to be ID'ed with all the security.

Big Score- Obvious. Even if it is the most stupid way to go about it, in the subtle option Michael and Trevor get close enough to so many UD employees that there's no chance they wouldn't be ID'ed.

And for Michael and Franklin I only purchased their exclusice properties. Everything else went to Trevor, even the Golf Club (he does jokingly mention to Ron he wants to purchase country clubs after all).

I made this roleplay, today actually, that I think you guys will enjoy just as much as I am.

It's where Michael was infected by some parasite (Like in the beginning of the Spider-Man movies, except Spider-Man's was a spider) at that big pool/pond area at that Playboy Mansion where you can go inside the rock formation. Michael gets infected, starts freaking out at everyone at the party and hits a few people and drives back home, smashing into everything as he is being drugged by the parasite. He goes into his house and goes to sleep. In the morning, he feels better and continues his daily life, but as he continues his daily life, he starts noticing strange things. At this point, I activate cheat codes such as Super Jump, Fast Run and Invincibility. Michael can jump across short building tops, use fast run to escape cops and invincibility to survive damage and great falls. After a day in-game, Michael realizes that he can use these powers for good things, so he vows never to intentionally hurt a civilian and kill only bad guys (If the cops come after you, you can pretend that they are corrupt). In the morning, Michael calls Franklin to see if Franklin can customize a car for him (Customize the Adder to it's peak performance, make the primary color Midnight Blue and the secondary color whatever you want, I picked white). Franklin does so, and they meet up and they exchange cars. Michael now has his own version of the Batmobile (As I like to think)! As for clothing, I wear the Prologue clothes as it gives a rookie feel to it, such as the beginning of the first Spider-Man (2004) movie where Peter Parker is in that fighting cage and uses a sweatshirt and sweatpants clothing to represent Spider-Man. I also use the red hockey mask to conceal Michael's identity. So basically, overtime the player and the vehicles will advance.

Again, I just made this today and it'll probably get funner over time.

EDIT: Michael's base is his mansion's bathroom (Since nobody uses it anyways  ) and I store the Adder in his house's garage by itself and removed all other vehicles so I can move around easily. Oh, and about the bathroom, I use the window as an exit. I walk around on the roof, jump off and sometimes use Amanda's car, which I also customized to look like the Batmobile in some ways, and just drive off which is quicker and more realistic than going through Michael's house in character and letting his whole family see him and exposing his identity.

Like playing the Sims? Do you wish the Sims and GTA combined? Well now it has...sorta. The Sims GTA Crew is strictly a role-playing crew. We play GTA as if it were a life simulation game like the Sims, of course with a little GTA mayhem sprinkled in. Members will take on a variety of RP roles during a session, which range from Police officers to the average citizens. We base our gameplay on the In game clock, meaning if its 1AM in game, you can catch our role-players participating in some night life activities. If it’s the normal 9-5PM range, our players will be on duty working their desired roles. Communication and Cooperation is key so there are a few rules and regulations that must be followed.

Rules And Regulations
1. Must have Mic

2. Must obey all traffic laws

3. Must perform desired Role duties
4. Must base gameplay on in game clock.

If you think this is the crew for you. Request an invite on our crew page.

I walk around on the roof, jump off and sometimes use Amanda's car, which I also customized to look like the Batmobile in some ways, and just drive off which is quicker and more realistic than going through Michael's house in character and letting his whole family see him and exposing his identity.

haha great story!

I Dress Michael up in the Special Ops outfit with a black Mexican wrestler mask and pretend that he is a super hero called The Shooter.

While he doesn't know that his arch enemy (The Green Devil) is actually Trevor.

I do this too, except with the Jewel Heist outfit and a Hockey Mask. He's Mr. De Santa, supervillain extrordinaire. I turn on the old invincibility, fast run, and super jump and then nobody f*cks with Mr. De Santa.

I figure he's already won the game once when he retired, so he's allowed to use cheat codes.

I don't cheat with Franklin or Trevor though.

me too but with Trevor...

actually Trevor is many ways is a lot like the Joker

irrational psychopath.... i like the scene with Trevor and Devin during Ending C where Trevor explains how he's not a rational person... it's a lot of Dark Knight where the butler is trying to explain the Joker by saying "some men just want to see the world burn"

so I'll sometimes dress up Trevor in a not-fitting Discount store suit, the purple suit with green shirt (a la Joker) and give him a mask, and go rob stores and armoured trucks

Whenever I drive the Classic Coquette, I turn the HUD off. Those type of cars clearly don't have any sort of GPS in the real world so it's great to simulate that in the game. It really makes you enjoy both the car and the map.

i turn off the HUD all the time when i'm not in a mission

the game is so much more immersive and incredible without any sort of UI or HUD on the screen

it makes firefights and car chases harder but that's ok too :D

and seriously, go drive around Grand Senora desert and then Paleto Forest/Raton Canyon with all the UI/HUD turned off

you'll be amazed how incredible and immersive it is :) !

Might sound silly but I RP Franklin as James Stewart. I even put my Sanchez in the truck bed and drive to the desert. Park the Sandking next to the to house with the Dune Bug outside, hop on the bike ride it off the truck then go and do back flips off jumps and ride around the desert. I like to pretend the dirt bike race in the quarry is Supercross.

If I'm not doing that mostly I just drive around and because the freeway's were closely based on the freeways I drive on everyday in LA. Except this time when I get cut off or stuck behind a bunch of cars I do what I've always wanted to do.... blast punk music and chuck grenades at everyone.

Yeah I took it to the desert and it proved to be very immersive. Cruising on the long stretch of road that cuts through Sandy Shores.
