Cannot Connect To Game Provider

After trying numerous workarounds, I keep getting this message when trying to connect to multiplayer on IV or Episodes. Is this a problem for anyone else? Anyone playing GTA IV online at the moment?

Same here but it's seems my ISP; I tried another ISP - iPhone 3G hotspot - and works fine... so I think this is some sort of route trouble to R* servers...

 

This problem starts yesterday for me... in monday I've played fine with other friends...

Hey fabio yes the problem started for me yesterday also but it was working fine in the morning

Hey fabio yes the problem started for me yesterday also but it was working fine in the morning

 

had no problem all yesterday (GMT+1) but i head all my frineds had this problem yesterday....... hope it not last long....

I have this problem today -_-

2nd day not working for me. Might try that hotspot method but I'd imagine it would eat up your 3G pretty fast.

Damm I'm so close to reach level 10; We are doing 200k per day; Until now I can't connect; In 3G, here in Brasil, is a Joke... turtle is faster... it was just a test; I'll try at my office too;

I've just recently learnt that Rockstar Games are aware of the issue and are currently working on it so fingers crossed its up and running soon

I've just recently learnt that Rockstar Games are aware of the issue and are currently working on it so fingers crossed its up and running soon

 

I've tried:

 

1 - Use NAT Type 1 --> directly with my modem; Does not work;

2 - Set-up a DMZ for my PS3 IP (this enable all kind of ports, no secure) --> Does not work;

3 - Let my modem shut-down for 5 hours to get new IP (my currently ISP sucks) --> Does not work;

4 - Change the DNS of my PS3 to google's DNSs (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) --> Does not work

 

Only works when:

 

1 - Change my ISP to my 3G provider (really slow);

2 - Change my ISP to another completely different; (But I can't use this method cause I need to move my ps3 to my friends house who really lives far way from me);

 

So, I'm confident that the problem is directly with my ISP and Rockstar server; Could be a IP blacklist (my ISP is listed), could be my ISP blocking the access; Anyway... I have all kind of internet access and social's R* site works normally; All others games of my ps3 and ps4 works normally;

 

I really don't know what to do;

Like i said they are aware of the problem and are in the process of fixing it there is nothing we can do apart from wait for them to fix the issue unfortunately

Do you really think they will do something for a 6 years old game, GTA V running, few people / few places complain???

 

I don't think so...

Good to hear it's back on. Nice to see Rockstar still supports the game.
