While doing some walkthrough videos I have noticed that the info on this matter is not very accurate so I have decided to start a topic showing the locations for most weapons on the map.
Since GTA V is a rather new game new info will certainly show up and if so I will try to maintain the topic as much updated possible. Also keep in mind that there are so many weapons available for free in the map that it will most likely take a few days for most of the info to be completed, but it's a work in progress and eventually will be "completed".

#17. This baseball bat is inside the Binco Discount Store so will only be available after the mission "Friend Request" #28. This baseball bat is near the Hookies property and usually there are a few members of the Lost MC gang so avoid getting there with Trevor or starting trouble with any of the other characters #30. This baseball bat is inside the Altruist Camp so carefully make your way around there as usually they don't like strangers inside their camp. (Check the Dangerous and Restricted Areas for more info).

#3. This sawed-off shotgun is inside the Los Santos Lost MC club so avoid getting there with Trevor or starting trouble with any of the other characters (even staying to much time inside it) #6. This sawed-off shotgun is inside the Lost MC trailer park so avoid getting there with Trevor or starting trouble with any of the other characters
#11. This assault shotgun is inside the Altruist Camp so carefully make your way around there as usually they don't like strangers inside their camp. (Check the Dangerous and Restricted Areas for more info).
Note that this map is not 100% accurate on the actual boundaries of the gang turfs and will probably be updated from time to time as new info comes to my knowledge, and any help on this matter is always apreciated.

#3. This rpg is inside the Altruist Camp so carefully make your way around there as usually they don't like strangers inside their camp.
#4. This rpg is inside the airport and getting inside will grant you a 3 stars wanted level
#5. This grenade laucher is inside the airport and getting inside will grant you a 3 stars wanted level
#6. This sniper rifle is inside the airport and getting inside will grant you a 3 stars wanted level
Note to get this sniper rifle I have used a parachute to jump out of the tower so I wouldn't get killed by the cops while descending it, you can find the parachute on top of Mount Chilliad on the cable car facility
#7. This machine gun is inside the prison and getting inside will grant you a 3 stars wanted level
#8. This assault rifle is inside Fort Zancudo's control tower and getting inside will grant you a 4 stars wanted level
#9. This minigun is inside Fort Zancudo's control tower and getting inside will grant you a 4 stars wanted level
These are areas where usually it's a almost certain death if you go to and or start trouble while inside them. But there are a couple of ways to avoid these and easily make your way around these areas.
For example while near the Ballas or Vagos or any other gang territory avoid staying too much time near one of the NPCs, and even more important don't start any trouble (shooting a gun or crashing into one of their cars), this will probably let you explore these areas. Another gang related area are those controled by the Lost MC biker gang, and unless you are playing as Trevor you may easily enter their turf, but again avoid staying too much time in them, as they are a bit picky to whom they let in.
The altruist camp on the other hand it's almost like a restricted area, the only difference is you don't get a wanted level from the police but unless you have finished taking the hitchickers to them with Trevor when you get inside their camp they will almost instantly start to attack you.
Now for the real restricted areas, first there is the airport which unless you buy a hangar it will grant you at least a 3 stars wanted level. There is also the Prison and Fort Zancudo and for those the only way to get inside is either getting the wanted level (3 and 4 respectively) or use some mission exploits (ex. Strangers and Freaks "Fair Game" or Story Mission "I Fought the Law...") which can grant the player a free roaming around these areas. There are also some other restricted areas like the Merryweather shipyard or the Humane Labs facility, but besides the weapons droped by the NPCs that guard them there are no more weapons inside those areas. Also keep in mind that some areas guarded by security guys or even police stations may trigger a wanted level if you start trouble while inside those areas, but that can also be done anywhere you want so it becomes quite random.
There are several locations where you may find a lot of weapons, but some may require you to dive deep and so you may need to get a scuba diving gear to avoid getting wasted along the way, to get it either get a Dhingy boat or a Submersible. Further more you also have to be cautious with sharks although they are not a problem if you are careful to avoid them.
Keep in mind that since the underwater nature can be random sometimes it may be hard to find some weapons if they are hidden by the sea floor vegetation.
For the exception of location #13 that is only available after the mission "Minor Turbulence" all other weapon locations on the map are available from the beginning.
Note that most of these locations are also near hidden money cases (Hidden Packages) so if possible try to collect them too.
NPC stands for Not Playable Character, meaning it's characters you can't control and some of these can carry weapons in some occasions and even more important is that some weapons are quite unique like for example, the Golf Club that can only be obtained by taking it from a golf player, others like the Knife or the Nightstick you may get them in ammunation where you can buy those, or also get them for free through some NPCs (gang members for Knife, and security guard for Nightstick). But this can actually be quite challenging as not always will these NPCs take out these weapons, sometimes (most times in case of gang members) they will take out a gun and start shooting you and even if they pull out the weapon you want be very careful as 2 or 3 strikes with those weapons and you are wasted.
Guns on the other hand are very popular with NPCs you can find them easily enough, like I said gang members (Ballas, Vagos, Lost MCs) and security guys can have them, but also cops and criminals and some other random NPCs can be caught wielding one. Actually on my first playthrough I used to always follow cops and tried to stop the criminal they were after so they would start shooting each other, then I could just take their guns at the end, it's quite easy and you may get two endings, either the cops win and kill the criminal and you may get the guns they were using against the cops, or the criminal will kill the cops and escape and in that case you can get the cops pistols and in some occasions a pump shotgun.
Like I had showned before store owners can also in some occasions point a gun at you when you are holding up their store, the only exception is unfortunately the ammunation clerk that will wield a gun but even if you kill them they won't let go of the gun and you can have it for some reason, anyway also in the ammuntion with the shooting range you may shoot the NPCs that are using it and those usually are equipped with a Combat Pistol (note that this was only brought to my attention after making and uploading the video bellow).
Now going against the military can give you some very nice weapons and or hardware (jet fighter, tanks) but it's also a very quick way to get killed, even more if you stay inside Fort Zancudo as you most probably will be shot by a tank LOLOL. On the other hand shooting a FIB agent is quite easy and you actually don't get a big wanted level, but these agents don't show much on the game, unless you get a 5 star wanted level which will then become hard as hell to survive or if you go to the satellite dishes in the desert from 10.00am to 11.00am where they will spawn along with a few scientist driving either a FIB Buffalo or a FIB Granger.

Repossession (Story Mission)
This is the first mission after you are granted free roam on the game, and you will need to kill a few Vagos so will need a piece and the game will give you one, but it's only a simple pistol so be sure pick all the weapons droped by the Vagos during the mission, there will be some more pistols and also a pump shotgun.
Note that there is also a body armor available in one of the garages you are supposed to search.
Getaway Driver (Random Event)
If you choose to play this random event and kill both Packie and his friend you can also get this weapon, but it will disable the random event because it's going to mark it as finished, but if instead of getting near them you keep your distance and call the cops, as they arrive Packie and the other guy will start running and that will disrupt the event, at that point you must be quick and kill them either run them over with a car or shoot them (be careful as cops are nearby, and you might get a wanted level). Now they will drop their money from the heist they just pulled and also the weapons they are carrying, Packie has a pistol but the other guy has a AP Pistol. This way the event won't count as finished and you repeat this exploit as many times you want.
Note that at first I thought that maybe killing Packie would disable it but it really doesn't so don't be afraid to kill him as long as the event is disrupted.
Abandoned Vehicle #1 (Random Event)
So this exploit was mentioned to me by harryschafter on my youtube channel a few months back but I was only able to check now although I was almost sure it would work and allows you to get a Stun Gun earlier than usual by killing the guy using it before he can tase you. It's actually really simple just go to the Random Event spot and trigger it, then make sure you park your car in a way the Surfer can protect you from the taser quickly get inside yor car and make some distance then just shoot the guy from a bit far away so that he can't tase you, but be carefull as sometimes getting to far away can disrupt the mission.
You are missing the assault shotgun, rpg and body armor and health pack at the altruists fort in the mountains. Confirmed.
Unconfirmed: I think I remember theres a sniper rifle in the tower radio of the same altruist camp/fort
You can access the fort just by going through the rocks next to the main entrance with any character Also you can add said altruist camp to dangerous zone as the naked men will shoot you if you go inside.
Ok this I still haven't tried much and how it happens but for some reason it seems that whenever I fail a mission, I loose a lot of weapons, usually keep a few ones but without bullets and all that remains usable are some of the melee weapons (knife and bottle) and also the grenades. Can someone else confirm this?!?

So I have found an exploit that can be usefull to get some money (not much) but also a AP Pistol earlier in the game and this from the way I'm doing might be inifinite but requires you to have the Random Events enabled and also having the event where you meet Packie Mcreary.
The trick is as soon as the random event is triggered avoid getting to the parking lot they are instead get to the parking lot next to the church just in fornt of them, then simply use your phone and call emergency and ask for cops, at some point Packie and his friend will see the cops and start running away now, you must be quick because usually when they turn the corner they vanish, I've been able to get them using franklin's special ability and a more or less fast car, but it might be possible to get them using some other method with the other players. Now run them over and they will drop their weapons and the cash from the robbery (it's not much) but for an earlier time is quite enough. Note that Packie's friend is the one using the AP pistol so if needed forget about Packie and just focus on him. Now have skiped time by sleeping and a few in-game days after the mission triggered again.

Thanks, for a minute I thought it was the title in the map glad it was only the shortcut, It's copy/paste fault LOLOLOL and if you spot any more errors please do mention it. Although I speak and write pretty good english, there are a couple of things that sometimes I might make mistakes, plus I have a bit of writing dyslexia so errors are not that rare
Damn this is the best set of maps with detailed locations that I've seen anywhere. I bet this is better than the strategy guide, though I don't have it so I don't know lol. I have almost all the body armor locations memorized and there were still like two or three that I didn't know about.
