I tried old version of this mod that were made in 2014 (that version with separate models of hands). Well it does look dark with SkyGFX. (I have a x32 OS)

 But if you disable "rimLight" in SkyGFX's config - the cutscene models won't be looking dark.

But the new version of the "CS Characters 10th Anniversary Edition", that we can download now from here, does look fine with "rimLight" enabled.

If, finally found the problem of "darkness". Is the material that unite it with the hands pattern (extracted from GTA3 Xbox), change the color of the material, making it opaque. I'm already solved gradually, so the pack you downloaded is compatible :)

Need help from any of you:
 
I can not edit the model Cam Jones (cscamj.dff) because it gives me an error when trying to import it into 3DS Max. :/
 
Can anyone tell me I do? :(

Quick question, I recently found a copy of Vice City for the XBOX (NOT DimZet's), and I notice the characters hands actually move (just like GTAIII)

But for this mod, they don't.

Will this be fixed at a later stage?

mmm, probably not. xbox/mobile uses a method similar to gta 3's heads to animate the hands, it removes the original hands and loads a separate model with its own animation on top. to get that effect here would either require intense coding wizardry or a workaround with lots of animation work using models with special skeletons, then EVERY cutscene would need to be modified to support this or you'd get errors/crashes

 

I don't want to say it's impossible but you're probably not gonna see it happen in this mod, the fingers move well enough though I think and the one plus these hands have over the xbox ones is that there's no seams :p

 

Oh damn, way to kill my hopes. That's a real shame. Maybe someday some kind of complicated coding wizardry could be done to have them working like on the XBOX/ mobile. But don't think that this is some sort of negative thing about the hands. I think they look awesome and is one hell of a long awaited improvement since GTA3.

 

Eh? The hands in this mod move? Am I being all hurr-durr, or have I done something wrong with the installation?

I'm going to re-download this pack and try again..

 

 

As Mr. Jago said, this amendment is in models only. Do not move at all. And it requires a fairly complex recoding, which I have no clue. Models are only edited by hand.

If, for some reason the model takes this error. Mr. Jago turned me twice for the PlayStation2. And I turned from Xbox and mobile version. And always throws the same error. :(
 
The model does not throw this error, the other (csmike.dff) but this model does not have the bones of the face.

My English is horrible, and the translator does not help. :(

Well, I'm done with default models Tommy, I'll upload the missing packages. I'll upload also special packages. :O

No, I could not fix this error, sorry :/
 
You made me remember of that mod, actually I left abandoned. Thanks, I had forgotten him. I'll try to resume, but what if I can say, is that it will take longer, because I'm trying to do with the 3 at a time.
 
So expect news that will soon. :)

This afternoon see if I upload the Pack # 2. :D

CSmerc.dff from Pack 4 is bugged, in "Dildo Dodo" she's completely white, no texture at all.

I can confirm this. She has no texture in this mission. Es verdad, Mercedes aparece sin textura en la misión "Dildo Dodo".

Yes, I know. Is not reissue their hands. And I will come up with the first pack of Gangs. With the model of Jethro, I do not think it will fall out to change a letter. It goes with wave, man. :)
