patriot is definitely better than the beejay and baller when it comes to offroading, ive tested all three
it can get uphill like its nothing at all
butttttttt if you'd rather have looks over performance go with the beejay, it has a fair amount of mods

Dubsta 2
True

I have that for my primary character. Looking for a different SUV for my secondary.
I've narrowed it down to the first generation Baller, Patriot, and BeeJay.
Any suggestions based on experience?

Patriot power ratio is like 10/90, hardly a 4WD. Its also super slow compared to the Beejay.

Dubsta 2
mechanically identical to the dubsta1, cosmetically lacks several different options. the sole "benefit" is the black badging.

Serrano is surprisingly capable off-road, which it really shouldn't be.
Best choice for off-roading as laid out here is the Patriot.
My choice would be the Dubsta.

Patriot will be able to get the most places, although it's not as fast as the other 2 it makes up for it in ground clearance and stability.
I have owned the Patriot, Baller 1 and used the Beejay a lot as well, very little experience with the Baller 2 though.
-Baller 1 is quite top heavy and sometimes struggles with steep inclines, the suspension is also very stiff and not very good for off road (shame you can't have the option of changing it on the fly like the real range rover can) -Best On Road
-Patriot is terrible on-road, but it's soft suspension performs better off road and it has a good amount of power, it's not the best climber but will get you up some pretty tough slopes -Best Off Road
-Beejay I think climbs the best, but hasn't got great ground clearance, though the big wheels do help prevent beaching, this is probably about in between the two; a compromise between off road and on road performance -Decent at both

I believe the Patriot is closer to 40/60 if not 50/50 actually. The Infernus and the like are your 10/90s.

Patriot is 60% rear, 40% front, beejay xl and baller 1 and 2 are 40% rear, 60% front. (unless recent patches changed it)

@bloatedsack
Why would u go for a dubsta 1 when a dubsta 2 is much better looking and has options the 1 doesnt have + isnt obtainable online so its pretty much rare.
And also the spare wheel on the back is sexy.
Ur just jaleous.

And "ur" just stupid.
One being "better looking" than another is completely subjective, that's not a fact.
See, a beauty with these 2 colors.
But what Bloatedsack mentionned is true.
The only real differences between the 1 and 2 is the black badging, the spare wheel on the 2 is slightly on the side, and the paint of the 2 is only one color while the 1 have both primary and secondary. Also the 1 have more options of customization.
The fact that you can't obtain it in Online by legit ways, doesn't make it any better.
ON TOPIC ;
I would say the Patriot is the best off roader of the 3. Then the BeeJay. Baller is more of a on roader...

Had 'em both online there, funboy; I prefer the one that allows me to make it look good and not simply "murdered out" with the same black paint job that every other dubsta2 owner has.
The ONLY difference between the two that cannot be replicated with the 1 is the black badging. That's it. Other than that, the 1 has everythign the 2 has, plus more.
You may bank on it as "rare," but with SP->MP nothing's rare. Not my original Asea, Hearse, VW Surfer, Nemesis and on and on (I cannot recall the whole garage of "rare" sh*t I've collected). The Dubsta2 is simply less interesting but for a tiny visual cue no one will notice.
This is why in a garage of curiousities, I have a Dubsta1 anyways.

@bloatedsack, ur so wrong man the dubsta 2 can be changed in any color. Not just matte black.
The badge isnt the only diff as i stated before, and i just checked and 2 has alot more costumization options than the 1, and u get the spare wheel on the back which u CAN'T get on the 1.
bye now

Hard to say. The Patriot is good at remaining stable off road but the Beejay climbing ability puts all others to complete shame. I have never owned a Baller so i cannot say anything about it. I would prabaly say all-in-all the Beejay.

I do believe the Dubsta 2 actually has less options if memory serves. The Dubsta 1 is also able to have the spare tire on the back. The difference here is the badging and location of it. 1 has it centered on the tailgated. 2 has it more off-center and to the left (doesn't block the license plate anymore). One key bit is the "exclusive" wheel choice for the 2.
Page 4 is where it really starts:

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that The Families drive a car called the Baller?
Kind of.. kind of ironic.

Is the BeeJay a good SUV? (might consider finding one to keep)
Where I live, you will find at least a Toyota FJ cruiser every 3 minutes. So I am guessing it looks good?

Patriot for me.. but that's just my opinion... Even though I don't have one I like it's offroad abilities. It's doesn't beach easily and can climb some very steep hills..
The Beejay XL is somewhat the same but can climb more easily..
As for the Baller.. that's not a offroader in this game.. Shame as it is a decent on IRL.

I know right, as I was thinking about it. Could you get me a new one any time soon, it had to make space for the Turismo which I since then sold.
