I'm with many others here when I say that the lack of interiors is truly baffling. Maybe the XB360/PS3 could not support more interiors, but what's the excuse for next gen. I purchased GTA V for PS4 under the assumption that a few of the in-game interiors we see in cutscenes, such as Madrazo's house, Tequi la la nightclub, Life Invader offices, etc, would be open to us. I was disappointed.

I will happily take a map the size of GTA IV's if it means more enterable buildings. The thing is though, they need to be more than just "enterable". There needs to be things we can interact with. Couches, chairs, stools we can sit on, vending machines, hidden characters we can talk to in some buildings...similar to the white dots that appear on GTA V's map, etc. Our interactions would be dependent on where we ere of course. I am in no way suggesting as many interactions as The Sims, but just SOMETHING for us to do as opposed to just looking around.

I should be able to go into a Fleeca bank and have the banker check my balance, I should be able to order food again from restaurants, get coffee from Bean Machine, etc.

Good to know.

V actually has a decent amount of interiors compared to past GTA games, but there could have been a few more definitely. Another stripclub, the Tequilala-Club, the Rockford Plaza Mall and the Car dealership house (locked after the first heist for whatever reason) for example. However it's not that big of a problem that there aren't Burger Shot's and Cluckin' Bell's, instead of them we have the 24/7 shops, where we can buy snacks. And one thing I love about it, especially in comparison to the 24/7's in SA is that we can rob those stores, shame they didn't put this in SA.

I just hope that the Bahama Mama's will be opened in SP too at some time, and be interactive similar to Maisonette 9 in TBoGT.

How did people figure out that there is an interior to the club Bahama Mamas? That's a pretty specific way to glitch in there.

True, there are 27/7 stores in the game. However, I would have liked for the convenience stores to compliment the fast food restaurants, like Clucking Bell, Burger Shot, etc. No doubt, had that been the case there would have been fewer complaints about the game. :)

Laziness, I think. Why bother creating lots of interiors? I think most GTA gamers play GTA O, and most of those couldn't give a sh*t about interiors - they just want to shoot people. Interiors would open up a lot of options with online modes too - robberies*, shootout based modes - either co op or verses.... They offer good avenues of escape (or cover) when perused by cops. I used to love running through the bohan apartments in IV with the cops on my tail - you could actually lose them doing it.

There really needed to be another stripclub in the desert somewhere. TBH i found the design of towns outside of LS pretty poor. There's no real substantial town. The state of SA has one strip club? I find that hard to believe. and it's frustrating.

Tequilala was the bane of my life when i played V. So badly did I want to enter it, for whoever bought it to do club management. Would have been a nice, fund way of earning money. Plus theres a goddmaned pool table in there -why, Rockstar? Why create that room? The mission doesn't take place in it, and we can't use it?

What baffles me is why it's even there. A nightclub interior? And they've never used it. No interactive nightlife option for it, no club management for it either. And yet lots of effort must have gone into making it, just to be left? And all the while, they included a boring useless yoga minigame and the world's most detailed underwater map....

It's quite clear that Rockstar have their priorities in the wrong places.

@Mokrie Dela

The interior of the Bahama Mamas is gorgeous. It even loads up in ONLINE. Why bother leaving it there for the game to waste space/energy loading it if it'll be unused, and mostly unseen? Why not simply open those damn doors, just like the doors of the bank.

They first should add NPCs to the interior, like they have in the Tequilala-Club. That one locked really doesn't make any sense.

@DaWiesel,

I agree. They should both be open and have NPCs. It irritates me that they're locked from us apart from glitching - which most of us aren't even sure of unless we watch a YouTube video.

There are actually quite a few interiors accesible only in next-gen. Some people may have overlooked includes the container-esque tower Rocco enters in Mr.Richards, along with a few more. Check it out!

I've been playing RDR again recently, and playing that game has made me realize how many interiors there were in that game.  A little better than half of all the buildings are enterable, plus caves, mining shafts, haunted houses, etc.

Some things I'd love to see in GTA V:

  • Banks
  • Police stations
  • Malls
  • The stadium/arena/whatever
  • Bars/clubs/strip joints (Tequi-La-La, Bahama Mamas, that sh*tty one in Paleto)
  • More houses!  f*ck, just give us a fully functioning Dynasty 8 system.. PLEASE.
  • Casinos
  • Open up the entire movie theatre interior
  • Open up any interiors that are a purchasable business, and maybe some random warehouses.  Not enough warehouses.

There are around five enterable fleeca banks in the game like this one in Downtown:

There's also the Pacific Standard bank you can enter, however it doesn't have NPCs spawning in there. Maybe with heists they will add some to it.
