I went for a drive into the country side to do some hunting missions, it was a bit late so wasn't available. I decided to get out my car and shoot some birds out the sky to kill some time, I must of only walked 10 feet max away from my car and it's gone....

I don't understand : /

Check the impound for it.

But yeah, SURPRISINGLY I had my Titan today landed on T's airfield and then went to his Sandy Shores Safehouse to get out a vehicle to mess around with, and I came back to the airfield to see my Titan STILL ON THE RUNWAY!   :O

Which is incredible, as like you said, you turn your back for a moment and walk 10 feet away and the vehicle usually disappears...GTA V is the WORST for this.  It's nothing like in IV, or SA, VC, or III.

III is crazy as you can go to three islands away, and come back to your safehouse and see the same car still sitting there from an hour ago, lol

Exactly.  GTA III would keep things where they are for a VERY long time, but it was SUCH a SMALL map compared to V.  But still...Turning your back and 5 seconds later your vehicle disappears is f*cking bullsh*t and unacceptable.

V surely is f*cked up and it pisses me off!

Do you think they can fix this, or are we stuck with it?

I don't think they will fix it.  To them, this isn't a bug.  But to us, it sure is, and it's f*cking lame as hell...

Currently there is a duplication glitch thanks to 1.11...

If you quicksave in any vehicle you driving, reload your game, now you have the vehicle you quicksaved inside AND the SAME vehicle in your impound as that character.  It f*cking annoys me because I use the impounds as actual 2 car garages and have fully modded vehicles inside there for each character, and when that duplication glitch occurs, I lose a vehicle in the impound.  Luckily I discovered this before saving my game, so I didn't lose anything but it does happen.  Impounds are glitchy as hell, in general...

I notice if I take a vehicle to LSC this problem doesn't happen until I get into another car. I mean, if I go extreme lengths, yeah, the car ends up in the impound lot, but I can get a good quarter mile away and come back, the car is still there.

I think it has to do with the weird ownership mechanics they've got going on, YOUR car shouldn't vanish, but it's making the car yours that is weird. Generally it seems a trip to LSC transfers the ownership to you. It's a little hit or miss, but for the most part I don't lose cars anymore.

Well, I own all my cars for each character and they disappear when you look away the same way if I didn't own them and just jacked a car off the street, lol

Test it out.  Walk away around a corner a good 15-20 yards and then run back, more than likely it'll disappear even without touching another vehicle.  But I know what you mean by once you get into another vehicle it almost automatically just despawns the moment you do that.  But even still, mine disappear even when I don't get into another vehicle.  It's bullsh*t, nevertheless...

In GTA IV/EFLC if you had the PC version you could download the Simple Native Trainer and you could save cars. Let's say you wanted to park your car and go for a walk, yo could easily do that and when you were finished with your stroll, you could come back and your car was there.

I had a lot of fun placing sport cars and luxury vehicles inside the Maissonete 9

not on xbox, the last car you were in stays where it is unless you travel halfway across the map, its only when you get in another car, that then becomes the last car you were in and your old 1 vanishes

It happens on both consoles. Not all the time, but it definitely happens and it can be pretty annoying.

Exactly.  It's not a PS3 or Xbox360 thing, it's simply a GTA V thing.  Happens with both consoles.  And it's hit or miss, so yeah, it's f*cking annoying...

I remember having a Mesa in mount Josiah and after 100 years I came back to the same place and the same Mesa with the same damage was there.

How the f*ck did it work, I don't know, but I was confused as hell.

It's called streaming memory. You could change this in SA to your liking aswell on PC, as long as the engine could handle the values you'd put there. Because the game has a lot more to stream than any of the other games, it needs to clean up memory more often than the other games, which means that vehicles and dead bodies will disappear faster to give room for the engine to process the rest of the things. Blame the consoles and the complexity of GTA V, because regardless of most of you disagreeing, GTA V is pretty complex for the current generation.

I don't disagree.  You'd need a moron to disagree with you.  I just didn't know what this was called.

I guess that is why no other games on my PS3 cause the fan to go really fast.  For GTA V, however, it's the only game that heats my PS3 up and has the fan going crazy.  It's also a 2008 Fatass backward compatible PS3.

I refuse to play it long periods of time due to this, and I take days off to give it a rest.  However, I don't NEED to play it as video games are not a small hobby for me, not a life, like most of the kids still in middle and high school...
