I was thinking a classic thread, but ill stick with the traditional one at the time thread. Back in the saddle with the FJ40, this probably a less compromised approach than my previous vehicles mod, the body is predominantly flat so its not going to be terribly high poly, but the engine and chassis, is just another story....I just spent a few hours hoarding photos.

@Poctik, looks really great

@nik yes we need a cortina!

@Roadrunner that's one odd looking loadstar, looks a little more brawnier, it might be another IH model slotted between loadstar and paystar. anyway I just stumbled upon another IH model based on loadstar cab!

No way. Again the same project!

I started mine a long time ago, but I have one little bug I haven't fixed yet. That kept me from releasing.

@compeast What bug did you encountered? I already made a water tank and dump truck model (both were not released) I dont want any conflict. I started this mess, sorry My fault for the overlap, i forgot you are on it as well. I dont pay attention whos getting anymore because of all kind of things i e been doing. Looks like i have to do something to keep both of you happy. If i got time maybe ill do the police variant roadrunner had suggested.

Conflict? I don't see why there would be. I really enjoy your work.

The bug I've been struggling with is a crash when shooting the windshield. I can go the easy way and remove the COL from the windshield and everyone can enjoy playing it but not have bulletholes in the windshield, or I keep fighting this bothering bug.

Other than that, and some very little details, I suppose it's done.

About that ESU version. That would be a lot of work, but similar to a project of mine.

Spoiler

Back on topic! Sorry... Ehm. For that engine bay. I am not known with engines and all but it seems intersting! :D

@compeast the Loadstar had a lot of configurations, when i get a chance ill give you the additional models for the loadstar. If you can send me the zmod file for the loadstar ill try to check what went wrong, it could be the lod1 issues.

@roadrunner after googling the esu photo is a larger truck model called fleetstar.

Sorry for being sensitive, stratum made the car and I respect him. There one person really insulted me is king George, he dismissed my 1993 caprice as "low poly and sh*t" converting game model rips makes him cocky.

I understand you. At us on a site for such messages it would be blocked forever. King George does not know anything except conversion game models. all his conversions are sh*t.

King george is now confined in an exclusive walled community at Chop shop.

looks like nobody is doing the 1966 Fairlane and LJ torana. Ill model them instead.

Model what you want Brian, dont care what other thinks, making a project and/or a model is all up to you and people should just be grateful you deside to share your stuff with the world.

I remember King George....he and the rest of the 'chop shop' seems to have a game of who made me the most pissed off,

Funny people...they dont have a life outside their forum.

@rocket im feeling more motivated now to do the Fairlane, gathered up the references and its a little easier to model than the duster.

@roadrunner, yes indeed, I make sure this car as accurate as possible.

@nik I decided to abort the duster because missed doing some classic fords, I haven't made one in a long time. back in the old days, I've seen 5 different people modeled the same car :D.  Oh well, there's no point of getting upset with this cocky kid, pretending to be the king of England, playing lego blocks from Dirt, Juiced, NFS and Forza models anyway.

im feeling thirsty...

You just do what your passion is. Make what you want to. Motivation is one of the biggest factors of creating a good model!

@nik Since I made a good progress on the fairlane, I am working working on it right now. I took a break because i spent too much time on the bell housing because of insufficient references. I have to make it good or else those lego boys will laugh at me.

@compeast im fueled with good amount of caff pow! :D

Who was King George? I don't remember him, or anyone by his name, aside from the ACTUAL King George. In that case, what a poser.

The real King Goerge was long dead and replaced by Elizabeth II, to be honest i dont know that guy, I just stumble upon a thread at gta4 about Chasez having a row with Mr K and his buddies (inc l. King George) I have no idea who started the fight.  Chasez showed his conversion on my caprice and king george dismissed my work as "low poly and sh*t".   LOL  Converting 120K model rips gives him a god like status (making 5% of scratch modeling work lolz)
