I think the trailers are some kind of sneak peek preview on coming features in DLC, so i for one welcome our Hunter overlords.

Hope this will come with a AA missile launcher.

I noticed something: while we can see the Hunter is a two-seater, the pilot usually takes the place behind the gunner, who sits in front. Here the gunner steers the heli alone. But ah well, the Simian was rated PA for postapocalyptic bullshlt.

u018VGa.jpg

The feature of a gunner would be awesome, you could concentrate on flying while your gunner operates the turret and, well: it will be a flying tank raining steel and death on everything beneath, a tank killer.

Probably with blind spots above, vulnerable against Lazers and Buzzards.

They did that for the Buzzard, so why not? (Front seat passenger can control where the missiles fire)

That would be useless. The gunner better get to use a cannon with exp rounds instead of those missiles which are useless against everything but players on foot.

How are the missiles useless? In auto-aim they're not and with manual aim they're certainly not. The gunner should have some experience in firing missiles (time it takes to reach target, etc) not just fire straight at the target.

At this point I'm confident this chopper is coming soon so I'm saving for it. I'm guessing it'll cost 2 or 2.5mil but I'm going to try reach 3 million before mid July.

I have no idea on the weapons it'll carry but at least I expect it to be just like a buzzard plus more armour plus firing 4x rrocketsin a volley rather than 2.

If it also has explosive cannons or co pilot operated cannons well that will be amazing and I'll be happy to pay 3mil for that.

I guess it would make sense. It's tough & with the police & NOOSE showing up to a heist, there would be lots, so someone would have to show up with a Hunter killing cops & NOOSE agents while the ones about to be killed are firing at the Hunter with Carbine Rifles & shot guns. More like an escort.

The data is free but ingame the items are not free. They cost GTA$, That is not free.

Once again, this logic is f*cked up. I mean really, the items would've also cost ingame money if they were in the game from the beginning. So yea, they are free. (In addition to that, many games let you pay for paid dlc first and then charge you again ingame, so quit the nonsense).
All this cash card talk in general makes me sick. Yes, it sucks that a paintjob costs 25k, but tbh, in SP i have hundreds of millions of dollars, I can buy anything. It's boring. The problem with todays gamers is, they want everything and they want it now. And then complain about the lack of content

I don't know if you've ever flown a buzzard before, but if you had you'd know that the auto-aim only locks onto npc LE vehicles, which is a strong contender for the most useless feature in the game.

For those saying that we already have the buzzard, what's so bad about having another armed aircraft? I still want the apc from tbogt even though we have a tank.

Apache > Little Bird.

Hunter > Buzzard.

:p Same as me here.

Nah, thats not really true at all.

Here's the deal, either you pay in cash cards or in time wasted grinding, it is not truly free. And to be honest with you, none of the content thats come out so far has really been worth the price tag.

Glad to see this thread is revived.

Given how we've received vehicles, we've received cars, a motorcycle, a boat, a plane so going through the various general classes it would be logical for a helicopter to be next.

Like I said, if you don't want everything know, you neither have to grind nor to spend money on cash cards. The Warrener as example. Costs 120k and after high life I was down to 9k (No joke). So what did I do? Kept my playing style, played a few TDMs and got to 120k within 3 hours or so. And I had fun doing it. Yes, it takes longer, but it also keeps the fun and replay factor in the game.

I said it once, twice and I can say it again: Once you drop the "I want every new car, I want every new mod for it and I want it ASAP" it makes the life easier and if you read my previous post, I do agree that price tags can be ridiculous, especially paintjobs and weapon attachments, but it's not that bad that you have to pay real money or grind all day long to enjoy GTA:O... It's pretty much the opposite. Call me a R* fanboy, but this Cash Card talk... it goes on my nerves. Everything gets blamed on Cash Cards to a point where it's not even remotely funny anymore. This game has flaws, quite many, but man...

In it you get a full shot and can clearly see the entire Hunter

Anyone think the Hunter's part of the reason they nerfed the Rhino? I think it'll make for some interesting surface to air battles in Freeroam if the Hunter is the airborne equivalent to a tank. Of course if they just weaponized the Titan we wouldn't even need a military chopper would we? Just saying...

Yeah, I know. Make it a level 120+ vehicle and price it at $2 Mil, and enable it to rain down death and destruction on the streets of LS. I suppose they decided not to do that cuz they knew it'd be the ultimate troll machine or something, but one can dream.

I have flown it before and I am aware it only locks onto NPCs. That's why the manual aim is there. Just have a friend aim it while you fly, which is the point of having two seats on an Apache.

Are you high on drugs or what?

Everybody knows that the APACHE is one of the strongest armed aircraft. Not some silly black metal insect with missiles/guns as optional equipment. (Blackbird, Buzzard in-game)

Apache (AH 64):

I suppose its all relative really. I personally don't find DM matches in this game very fun, nor do they pay very well. I prefer coop missions but most of the coop missions in this game are pretty bad and also pay like crap. You seem to think that Im complaining about Cash Cards. I'd actually prefer to pay for a subscription than Cash Cards because:

1.) It would help pay for dedicated servers and not this leased Cloud crap rubbish server setup they've got going on

2.) It would discourage squeakers from playing the game as parents have to pay a monthly fee

3.) Maybe some of the content would actually be given to us up front, instead of doled out in these stupid installments

You like Military vehicles. Tell me, would you not prefer The Hunter be in the game now, with a very high level requirement and price tag, than waiting God knows how long for it to even be introduced?

The Hunter or the Jet are vehicles that would dictate very, very high price tags and worth the grind to get.

Not paying 40,000 for a rusted old car as part of the hipster pack.

See what im saying? Im not against cool exclusive vehicles that require work to get. I'm just asking that they come out with some better things to buy than spending $5000 on a normal looking paintjob.

No, I didn't "got confused" about what we're talking about. Maybe you did, though. I'm saying the DLC we're getting isn't worth the high price tags. Try to keep up OK i dont want you quoting this huge quote tree and needing me to explain everything to you again.
