I didn't want to ruin the game for myself, so restarted the xbox and all the money disappeared

Was tempted to buy an Entity though. Still haven't been able to afford one since!

I was on vacation when cockstar removed it. It feels like a cheating girlfriend.

I missed the billion days, and I only have like 1.5 million.  Wish I had more so I can get the Pegasus vehicles, but I suppose I'm comfortable.

I had SO much dough back then. I remember modding Feltzers and putting bombs on them. Then I parked them at Tinsel Towers and watched people go boom. So much fun.

This were the worst days are u people kidding me?!! Ya sure it was fun the first day or so but that completely took away and ambition to do anything. I even stopped playing for a little bit. Are gamers really THAT lazy to work for virtual money.

I miss apartment hopping. I learned every view of every 10 car garage...

I met the dude who have me 1.5 billion due to me duping him my Nemesis...

I'll say, those were the fun days.
Now r* going full Obama.

Obama? What does he have to do with anything?

I hear enough of that sh*t from the garbage-speaker called "US Media", I'm disappointed a Limey is chiming in as well...

It was probably in jest. Let's not ruin a thread by getting all political. :)

i bought everything i possibly could in the game. i switched apartments alot, my cars were all fully upgraded. not even super cars. i had a bugatti that i got for free do to a garage glitch where i spawned in someone elses garage and got in there bugatti and took it to lsc and insured it in my name. it was more fun then. i meen who wants to play a video game and have to pretty much go to work. if i wanted to work id wake up and go to my job. the whole cash thing is a bummer. i just like to play not grind for virtual items.

I bought all the Pegasus Vehicles, sold or destroyed every car in my garage so I could have a fresh start. I ended up having a cheaper garage after. All I had before were Sports/Supers. We couldn't sell them at the time so I just stuck with it, then I got billions and didn't need to sell them.

I don't really miss it though, I've been playing the game so much more now. Hard to explain but I'm glad I got that money but I'm also glad they took it away.

I bought all the pegasus vehicles, the top ten most expensive cars, I modded them with all the performance mods a level 65 could have and I bought tons of ammo.

Idk, having that much money kinda defeated the point of doing activities to earn money since it plays a vital part online. Sure spending away is fun but after that, then what?.... Being rich is "miserable"

Missed it, didn't play GTA for some time. It did sound like a lot of fun though.

I loved it. Most of my kills and death were in that period. It was pure war and chaos. Modding every cars was cool too.

The billions were fun, the god-mode wasn't.

I was never part of it because I always avoided playing public lobbies and still do, but it really ruined the game from that point on.

I definitely miss it. I spent around 10mil on car upgrades. Doing up any vehicle, beating the piss out of it, and leaving it on the on the road for something else.

All I bought was the Buzzard and full ammo, both really good purchases.

I miss jacking tank users out of their tanks with god mode and punching them to death.

I also miss modding cars off the street at will.

I sadly migrated back to my PC during the holiday and DNS season, because Steam and Good Old Games had their yearly sales, and never got a dime of that modded money.

I also consider the money I spent on PC games better spent than on a cash card.

I don't miss it. If had spent the money I would probably be done with the game now.

First thing I did, was report the money I did not earn.

I knew from day 1 they would reset everyone eventually, So spending it meant nothing. it was impossible to tell what I earned and did not earn. I tried to buy as little as possible, which was also impossible when combating cheaters among other names they have coined for themselves.

No, I do not miss "those days" because it was also the same time for god mode, and the breeding grounds for more glitcher and exploiters that you see today. Despite anyones opinion... DNS is pure evidence that the cheater pool vastly outnumbers the legit players, and that the game was and will be broken forever.

shut up.
On topic hell yeah I do, the battles on the streets were worth it, it made online feel more alive

I enjoyed that time because it was a full out war mixed with helping low levels. I helped so many low level players by modding them cars.

It just seemed like anarchy on the streets is LS. However it's meant that I don't play on my actual account now. I made a new account to play the game how it's meant to be played and tbh it's a lot more fun.

My favourite moment was the day or days after everyone lost their money. The streets were peaceful and all you heard was tears over the mic about how someone is broke.

My Pegassi Infernus, of which I already had maybe 383k of the 440k price tag. Felt great to drive my own personal Batmobile around. :)

I do miss it, and while I understand that it defeats the point of the game, I have no idea what goes through the mind of those that think grinding is "fun." Grinding has always been about reaching the endgame, and the billions days gave us all a taste of GTAO's endgame. I would definitely welcome them again.
