Tuning Mod 0.9.3.2
i fixed a crash when you died inside the car
 
 
i tried to create the possibility of save the car, is difficult... i will need to read the structs of all parts of car, save in a binary file on HDD, and create a script to read this files and recreate the car in game with this infos, to guys with experience with this things is easy, but to me no :p
if anyone help me with this, i thank
 
i'm creating other mod now, a new damage system, in the same time, i'm creating a game with my indie team (2Nibble)
 
i will give here the source of tire wear too (Tuning Mod Script2 (Junior_Djjr).cs), if anyone make some good changes in this system, i can put in a new version of tuning mod:

(DONT USE THIS WITH A NEW MOD, IS ONLY FOR TUNING MOD OR STUDY)

When i start the game, it tells me that i don't have the 1.0 version of some crack, it won't let me try the mod out. Is my version of the game incompatible with the mod or something?

Hello,

 

If anybody could help me out, that would be great. Recently, I've downloaded GTA: SA, SA-MP, CLEO 4.3, etc. I'm getting the hang of modding; I've already modded successfully. I've put Junior_Djjr's Tuning mod into CLEO and I am able to press TAB in-game and see my vehicle's information. However, the problem occurs when I enter the tuning garage. My game crashes. Is this what's meant in the Readme file? That the interface may mess up? Does anyone know why my game's crashing? Was I supposed to merge the CLEO folders in the .rar? Was I supposed to do otherwise?

 

Any help will be greatly appriciated. Thank you.

@21Klipz: If you're installing the English version, you first have to install the mod fully then copy over the English files and overwrite. Maybe that's where you went wrong?

 

@Junior_Djjr: 2 Things:

 

1) This mod doesn't work with 'Remote Lock Car' 3.6, the car drives when installing extras.

2) Sometimes, when browsing through extras, the game crashes :/ Why?

 

Besides that, THIS MOD IS AWESOME!!!! :O :O :D :D

Can't get into the garage, the text on screen in the beginning is in Portuguese even though I put the file for english translation into the CLEO file (it doesn't tell me where to put it precisely.)
Can someone please help me out here?

She created this with D3DX (very nice visual wow) for help me in the save of cars, then now I'm editing creating the save of all the things of Tuning Mod

 

I already created the save for all the things... except the extra parts installed (the last part and harder part of the save system)

and DK helped me creating a .asi to extend the Frames of parts

Fabio is helping me in a bug

(a lot of helps here)

and now, Tuning Mod can rename the parts installed (but if you rename a steer to "steering_ok" the imvehft don't call the function yet :c)

 

Tuning Mod v1.0 is coming

I'm improving the commands, Shift is dead right now, I used the tip of IGnoton
 
 

For instance: toggle movement: arrows for X and Y, page up/down for Z. And then same for scale and rotation. On my opinion that would make more sence.

then, page up/down change the height
same for scale and rotation (rotates Z)
 
I added the Snap for rotation, is like... if your part is with 94.439°, when pressing CTRL (you are in rotation commands), you press X and then will be 90.0°
if not press CTRL (you are in the position commands), when you press X the side will center (in other words, X=0.0)
if you are pressing S (you are in the scale commands), when you press X the scale will reset to 1.0 1.0 1.0
i will create a thing to "invert" the part to other side of car too (I'm thinking about create this yet)

I have a suggestion. It would be very nice If I could get a script to display a turbo gauge when it's installed.
What do you think Djjr, could you get it?

other scripter can make this, is very simple


if rpm is 0 and not 65535
then the gauge back to 0

if aceleration pedal is < 128
then the gauge back to 0

if clutch change (I don't know the real name of this address, I've found by accident) is 1
then the gauge back to 0


address for rpm:
CVehicle + 0x280 (2 bytes)

address for aceleration pedal:
CVehicle + 0x966 (1 byte)

address for clutch thing:
CVehicle + 0x284 (1 byte)


the speed of gauge's needle does not matter


to check if the car have tuning mod's turbo:
0A97: 28@ = car 0@ struct
28@ += 0x384 // vehicle.pHandling    
0A8D: 28@ = read_memory 28@ size 4 virtual_protect 0

ah, I fixed the "floating" car on the ground... now is better to put a new wheel with exactly size
and I made the function to invert the part, now you can inverts the position and scale in X Y and Z, with simply 2 key presses
and new visual (the old color already sickened), some visual fixes (and others) etc etc...
