getting tired of an helicopter i get into becoming a moving SHOOT ME sign to anyone who can see me, the engines cutting out are really annoying and the snipers having infinite range makes it even worse, they can pelt you with bullets until you either go down or lose them

its a real problem outside the city, and its still really annoying in the city as well

so, gimme your input on the situation, nerf light speed rifles or buff knitted engines?

No and no.

I don't know where the crates went, but that's what a helicopter is for. Getting to point B from point A without a bunch of twisty.

(Or to get on top of a strategically placed building for fun and trolling with the sniper rifle. :p )

Only thing that needs to be buffed is the health of the Pegasus Aircraft.

The Cargo Bob is too weak, and the Buzzard gets spanked by Mini-Uzi's.

(The f*cking Maverick can take more hits than an armored attack/recon helicopter.)

Turbulance is the reason why helicopters suck in this game.

Funny how the AI can shoot you from 200+ feet in the air, while your car is also going over 80 MPH.

If anything the sniping draw distance should be improved, but the fact that the game runs on a 7 yr old graphics engine, you get what you get. As far as the helicopters, I will say this, the door gunners accuracy on the AI choppers is way beyond realistic especially in survivals. There isn't a door gunner anywhere in the real world with that kind of accuracy. As far as turbulence, most who complain about it probably don't have their flying stat bar maxed out. I've never have any issues flying a heli or plane.

That, and they suck. My bar ain't maxed out, but I can fly. I don't get sniped out of my chopper, either.

I can tell by your post that you've never had Chuck Norris as your door gunner? Believe me bro he makes the AI in gta look positively amature.

Simple solution.

They're both fine.

You will always get crap pilots and good snipers, but catering for the least skilled will only lead to more complaints.

I don't think too much needs to be changed.  Most of the helicopters aren't really meant to be flying tanks.  I'm pretty sure if you shot a real life helicopter a few times with an anti-material rifle, it'd go down quickly too.  That's kinda the point!

However, you could argue they should make sniping harder.  You can make standing headshots from max range (well, max draw distance) all day long.
