After 5 months with GTA V & GTAO I'm finally done. Not because I'm angry but because I've earned the Platinum trophy for the game and both my characters have reached lvl 120 as of today. I know, yay for me.In my 5 months of play I never participated in an online heist, I have not played any DLC for single player, I never invested in the stock market or gambled at the casino or purchased investment properties in GTAO. GTA V is a console release and 5 months is an eternity for console players to wait for what essentially amounts to a handful of empty promises. I am extremely disappointed in R* for flat out lying about heists and story DLC.In retrospect the game as a whole still feels like wasted potential and my guess is it always will. I'm not sure for how long or for what R* expects us to hang in there, but March is just around the corner and so are many intriguing new titles, finally. I know there is a lot of speculation that heists and DLC could drop any day now but I've been hearing that for months. I cannot imagine heists being anything more than a string of missions and based on what R* has offered us so far I highly doubt they will put much effort into whatever DLC may or may not be forthcoming. In conclusion while I did enjoy most of my time in Los Santos I have come to learn through this experience that R* is no longer to be trusted and is clearly a corporate shell of its once great self. Only the corporate mentality could lose sight of the basic fact that at its core GTAO is simply a game and one of many at that. The only investers in GTA V that R* is interested in satisfying is its shareholders. The consumers can swallow more lies and piss off but be sure to purchase a shark card before you do. In the five months I played they never gave a crap about the legitimate players online. They seem at war with glitchers and modders, a war they cannot possibly win, and although I'm not one to buy into many conspiracy theories I do belive that R* has taken advantage of this situation to cover up their own inadequacies when it comes to delivering the goods for GTAO.It was an interesting ride especially here on the forums that's for sure. I don't think I would have made it this far if not for some of the great insight into the game I discovered here. I very much enjoyed being a part of the conversation. In the spirit of not letting a few bad apples spoil the bunch I will say that the forums have more then added to my GTA experience and for this I am truly grateful. Hopefully I'll see some of you in Lordran in just a few short weeks!Bye For Now & Happy Gaming
So you stopped enjoying GTA V because Rockstar didn't spit out a f*cking update every day?
You sir, are part of the 80% that moan because Rockstar cannot deliver a sh*t-load of content in 48 hours when you request it (I bet it's hard to recreate a minimal Payday 2 so you can enjoy your heists). If you do not like how Rockstar's handling their updates/patches/Online issues then find employment there and then get fired because you whine about every bit of progress everyone else makes.
