Why can't Johnny or Luis jump properly?

It seems if you just hit the jump button without moving your character in the episodes, God changes the laws of gravity and human bone structure for a few split seconds.

What f*cked up Johnny and Luis so bad in the redoing of their animations?

I know Johnny was in a bike wreck prior to the events of TLAD, so that may have to do something with his jump.

 

Not sure about Luis' though.

I know Johnny was in a bike wreck prior to the events of TLAD, so that may have to do something with his jump.

 

Not sure about Luis' though.

 

Like, this is more of a technical question. His jump isn't really off-kilter as much as it just looks f*cking weird and unnatural. 

His bike wreck is supposedly responsible for his agonizingly low sprint speed, though.

Yeah, I thought about how weird Johnny looked when he jumped when standing still. He just ..falls so fast lol, doesn't look authentic at all
