THIS IS NOT THE BUG WHERE IT CRASHES AFTER LOADING!!!
So what happends is when i try to load a game right as i click load the game stops wroking and instead of

loading its just a picture with LOAD in the corner. When i try to create a new game it just crashes right away.

So this is not the bug where you swap the main.scr or whatever.

Ive been googling around and havnt found any soultions.

The game has been working fine on my other computer but not on this laptop.

I have bought the game on a cd and i keep the disc inside. The only way i can play again is by reinstalling the game then i can play but if i save a game and try to load it the same thing happends again. So theres bassicly no way for me to continue my progress. I have also not installed any mods.

Windows 8 is a touch screen operating system, that has been adapted to keyboard and mouse. Like Windows7 killed the DOS games, Win8 is trying to kill the older PC games.
However, while few Win8 players have had hit & miss results getting games to play, no one has come up with a definite way to do it, that works on all machine configurations.
Install the game using "Admin Privileges". Into a computer with these stats:
Recommended System Requirements:
Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (or better)
 384(+) MB of RAM
 16x DVD-ROM drive
 4.7 GB of free Hard Disk space for a full install
 128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better)
 DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card
 Game pad** with twin axis analog controls (USB or Joystick Port)
 Keyboard & Mouse
Get by with Minimum System Requirements
• 1GHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon Processor
• 256MB of RAM
• 8x DVD-ROM Drive
• 3.6 GB of free Hard Disk space for a minimal install
• DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card
• 64MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce3" or better)
• DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card
Try running in 'XP' (sp3) Mode, if you have trouble with the mouse then try "Win98" mode.
Don't try to run it from a Flash Drive or External Drive as they are usually too slow.
Install into the C:/ Drive when possible.
It is presumed you have a legit DVD game, we had a problem a couple of years ago where the members were duped into buying Pirated cds because the real game 'wasn't available'.

im using vista.

and if i used a pirated i wouldnt go to this forum then i would ask the guys who cracked it. i dont see how the pc specs can mess up load and save game though.

keep in mind the game works until i save it and then load out. probaly should point out that when the game works i can click with my mouse on start game exetera while when its going to crash i have to click enter when navigating in main menu
