Yes, it is. Why the hell would that change?

It's not our, nor is it R*'s problem that YOUR expectations were too absurd.

I had a few disappointments because I overhyped it but it was still an incredible game

It's indeed a great game and as mentioned above it was the fan's expectations that made most of the people that it wasn't worth the wait. Gta V is one of the greatest additions in the series ,vastly improved from IV and kind of different from the previous installments. And being different is not bad , it's different in a good way

Why did you have to mention GOTY, man? Now, Redx will spam this topic. :(

But, I rate GTA V a 9.8/10.

Yes. GTA V is 9.8/10 IMO, like GTA IV. The quality of the series continues every new game.

I like the game. It's actually my favourite GTA game. Second to GTA IV.

Sure, it had its flaws, but I didn't overhype the crap out of this game unlike most of the people complaining.

His name says otherwise.

OT: 8/10 Still a great game, but nowhere near as good as it could have been imo.

The story and characters were terrible, but in just about every other respect the game was an unprecedented work of perfection. 100%ing the game is an immersive enjoyable journey as opposed to a box-ticking "Yeah I done that." exercise.

It definitely lies between 9.0 and 10.0.

Hahaha. OP simply made a neutral topic and you lashed out at him like he just sat on your baby. I understand if V is your favorite game and all, but you're a f*cking embarrassment with the sh*t post on here. It's one thing to like a game, but it's another to flame someone because they don't like the game enough.

Trust me, I really don't care if he likes V or not, but his reply was so half-assed that I didn't want to reply to him. Is that called flaming? I just said I don't wanna respond to him because of his reply. If he was offended, then he wouldn't have liked my post.

Oh yeah, and V isn't my favourite game. Just saying.

I'd say GTA V is 9.6. GTA O is 6 and Rockstar Games 5.

Single player was beast. Gta Online was fun the first weeks but it got boring and the only content expansions are themed DLC's which aren't even neccesary.

I hope Rockstar released heists and daily/weekly special missions rather than "Rockstar verified" jobs and the same boring missions. I also hope they released the PC version already -.-

69 missions.

60

+

9

missions.

Several of them are "get this item for this heist" and can be done by walking up to a vendor and buying an item.

It's painfully obvious where their intentions lie and I'll give you a hint: it isn't in single player.

69 missions, where the ones that aren't heist preparations are varied and mostly long.

69 missions, where there's also a bunch of Strangers and Freaks missions that make the mission count 129.

69 missions, with also tons of things to explore and collect.

69 missions, with a bunch of activities that are actually full-fledged.

And more

But yeah, let's just ignore all that.

I can tell you that the story is a 9/10. I can't say the same about all other aspects of the game. When removing the story out of the review I can tell you that the game does feel unbalanced, indecisive about the kind of game it wants to be. Frankly even with GTAs' usually long development cycle I think this one was rushed. GTA IV didn't have all the bells and whistles everyone expected but it felt like it was complete.

I'll even go as far as saying, and hear me out. I'm not saying this game is as bad, but I think GTA sort of went the Saints Row route. What I mean is that they worried about quantity over quality. More would of been better and hell I expected the cool changes that were made from the 3D era to the HD era but with some more depth and interactivity. Somehow it didn't work out.

We wanted tougher AI well we got it. Enemies are more accurate and advance from cover to cover towards your position. Yet the spawn system is ridiculous, cars would ram you in a scripted manner, shooters were unbearably accurate when aiming from a moving vehicle.

Car gameplay is a heated discussion. There is a huge thread that is still raging. I myself can't stand the changes, I think its dumbed down, restrictively boring and lacks depth. Some say (and I still don't believe they're being honest with themselves) that the changes are welcome.

Shooting mechanics I did enjoy. Not exactly like Max Payne but more fluid and the cover system is a lot better.

Are you serious? They did focus in Singleplayer, for once could people stop spewing that ''bwaahahha they focused on online, shark cards and sh*t, they only care about our moneeys bwaahahha'' + the Strangers and freaks missions it counts over 100.

Oh and GTAV Fan can I join your fight against SOL(B)?

Wow, you are the only person I've seen like the story and be disappointed in the game itself. Everything else has been like story like gameplay or hate story like gameplay, or hate both.

Are you real? Lol

Yes, it is. How does that change over time?

easily, those reviews weren't given the amount of time needed and were just thrown out there to be the first site to have them.

IGN gave GTA IV a 10/10 yet calls it a overrated game a few years later.

Those reviewers are usually given the game 1-2 weeks before release, so they can get the reviews out a couple days before release. And once they get the copy, they play it nonstop. It's their job for the next X amount of time.

They have plenty of time to review the games.

And when did IGN say that?
