I'm pretty shocked there isn't a thread for this already.  Shame on you all!  It's one of the best cartoons ever created.  It has some of the best sci-fi comedy I've ever seen.  Easily as good as Red Dwarf or Futurama.  Here's the pilot...

It's aired on adultswim and is made by Dan Harmon (creator of Community).  There are 6 episodes out already and it's coming back in March (it's not been broadcasted since the end of January).  I'm pretty sure you can watch all the episodes on YouTube.  If you like cartoons, sci-fi and comedy you owe it to yourself to check this show out.  Trust me, you'll be in love by the end of episode 2.

Love, love, love this series. The only thing wrong with it is that there isn't more of it available right f*cking now. I've been yelling at everyone to watch it for a couple of months. The Nigerian 419 ep had my sides in orbit.

Every episode has been quality so far.  I couldn't really stand the voices of Mr Meeseeks but that is my only complaint and it's pedantic I know.  They did Inception better than Inception did Inception (if that makes sense).  I may sound like a ridiculous stoner but I love how trippy it is as well.  It's so vibrant.

Can't wait for it to start up again, it's back on March 10th.  Although I'm sure you knew that already ;)

I think this may be the origin of the show, was made uploaded to YouTube in 2006.

Love it. It fits in with the rest of Adult Swim pretty organically and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. Like will we see longer overarcing plots? An antagonist? (though it could be argued that Rick is the show's antagonist in many ways) An endgame?

Though I imagine it'll go the route of Superjail! and add some multi-episode plot as and when it needs to.

First ep I watched they were making Cronenberg references. I was in love from that moment on. This is one of the more refreshing series on Adult Swim right now. I love the guest voice spots, you got your typical Adult Swim personalities and then some. Hopefully this one goes on for a while.

It looks like all the episodes except for the pilot have been removed from youtube. Luckily I have them all downloaded but I wanted to post episode 6 as it's my favorite (so far). The ending blew my f*cking mind.

Can't wait until march....

I need to go back and rewatch most of them. I didn't realise there were post credits scenes until the one with King Jellybean's statue. Rewatching Archer soon too. They keep referencing episodes I can't remember at all.

Love this show. Favourite ep so far has to be "M-Night Sham-Aliens"

And the latest episode came out recently. I'll have to check it out.

There's a Rick and Morty game to play on the adultswim site...

http://video.adultsw...-morty/special/

It's a point & click and has voice acting.  Pretty cool for a free game.  Already 3 chapters out and they're making more.

Oh, and if access is blocked you can find all of the eps on a popular file sharing site.

Man, "Rixty Minutes" was amazing. The 2 Brothers part had me in stitches.

It's like a Superjail I can watch sober.

First episode I saw was 'Anatomy Park' and I've been on board since. Hepatitis C should win an Emmy for its performance. For whatever reason I thought it was a limited run of like 6 episodes at first but now that I know better I'm more invested. After the last episode I wonder if they will start developing more of an arc but if there was ever a show I suspected would just try to screw with any emergent fandom, it's Rick and Morty.

... And then a meteor hits!

So sad to see the season end so soon.  Pretty much loved every episode too.  Hope we don't have to wait a year for the next one.

So, now what do I watch that Rick and Morty S1 is over? Are there any cartoons in the same vein out there?

I've watched through things like Superjail (obviously), Venture Bros, Futurama & China,Il but kind of run outta stuff now.
