Don't worry, man. It's best that you keep it that way.

Trust me, you wouldn't wanna get any jobs from businesses. Half this section want to be you, OP.

I noticed this once when I bought a heap of properties towards the end. They seem more frequent when you buy them one at a time.

Am I the only one who actually likes these jobs?

I don't mind them. They give us something to do if we get bored.

I was just warning him that he might hate 'em because half of the people here hate 'em.

Sure they removed Roman calling you up to go bowling, but they replaced it with something even worse. Now you're texted constantly to drive all the way to a van to deliver supplies because the delivery men in Los Santos are clearly lazy bastards. If there was more gang shootouts and less tedious delivery missions, I wouldn't mind.

I'm not a person that doesn't want any property missions at all but I would much prefer to be you as they always seem to pop up at the worst times.

Now that you mention it, I don't get any property missions neither, not anymore...

I got a few when I first bought Smoke on the Water with Franklin, but ever since I bought the cab company, I got nothing.

Then again, I don't even own that many businesses on my chars. So I dunno.

Cab missions are extremely rare. I've only had two. Obviously you can start your own by getting in a cab, though.

Most business missions are very generic/boring and you get pestered by the managers all the time. I prefer to just lose the money. I keep thinking to myself "I'm the damn owner, you're the manager, you figure it out!"

I do like the shootout and the robbery and I'll do those missions if I'm close to the business.

I think thry are pretty random. I have only had one taxi fare for Franklin and one delivery mission from a pub Trevor owns. That is it. I can potter about for days on end, nothing. Micheal has all cinemas, nothing from them. Smoke on the water, again nothing. All the businesses my characters have seem to manage fine wothout me.

Yet on my husband's game, the businesses seem to need help constantly. We are both roughly the same stage in the game and our characters own roughly the same amount of properties. So I guess it is luck of the draw.

I've stopped getting them for quite some time now. Since maybe early January. I liked doing them every so often, I remember once I was flying the Lazer, and the Hen House got attacked. It was the most awesome feeling doing a strafing run on them. THAT'S how Trevor Phillips Enterprises defends a bar.

I've stopped getting them ditto. Just as I bought the Doppler on Vinewood too, I only had the chance to do (and fail) a single air advertisement segment àla Vice City and that's it. I also did about 4-5 Taxi missions with Franklin but since then, not a peep.

I have been playing as Franklin almost exclusively since finishing the story missions (10+ hours including spaceship collection), and still have not gotten the one job from the manager of the cab company.  I do want the achievement you get for finishing it, but like most of the people itt are saying you should be happy they aren't bugging the hell out of you like contacts do in some other GTA titles.

UPDATE:  As soon as I finished the last mission for Tonya and bought the tow company, as I was leaving the tow lot I got the call from the cab company.  Not sure if this will trigger the call on a regular basis, but that's how it went down for me.

I got the call soon after purchase but then didn't get it again for months.

I did get it recently and it happened to be right after this....

Quick save in a new slot as Franklin-- I was up on vinewood blvd across from the train caboose resturant.

Exit the game,

Start up the game,

Die immediately (I got in a cop shoot out),

Right after I spawned, I got the call

Just tried that and nothing, did it with all 3 characters and no look, not a single call from any business.

This is really annoying, after finishing the main storyline I have nothing left to do, the game feels so empty, no property missions, random encounters, security vans.

Nothing!

That has been confirmed to work but for a single time only and only from the cab company, it doesn't trigger the properties to call on a regular basis.

I get too many calls from the properties, but like any good real-world boss, I just ignore them.
