I can't figure out how to post a news link, or picture. I think my computer is not updated or something. It still works on the other forums.

Google it though Ferrari California T. It was just announced 2 days ago. Crazy.

I think they have wheels that look like that in the game. I will recreate it.

Wow that is pretty close. Maybe the designers over at Ferrari are GTA fans

The colour matches. Wow.

Lights are different
Wheel arches are different
Front end is completely different
Mirrors are different
Side vent is different

Nothing is remotely similar.

They might read car magazines for ideas on the vehicles and maybe that car was mentioned and they liked so it is in the game.

The overall shape is kind of close.

The raised area over the rear wheels is pretty distinctive on the Carbonizarre, I don't know that I've seen a real life car like that. I dunno.

This is the real Carbonizzare, the resemblance to Ferrari is very weak, it's there, but it's not as obvious as the Zagato.

I find it much more similar to the Ferrari than to the Aston Martin, taillights excluded, but that's just me. When comparing GTA cars to real life cars I look for general appearance rather than details.

Though they say that the similarity is to that of Aston Martin, which the front view obviously is, but the rear end looks much of Ferrari. The quarter panelling and wheels are like Aston Martin. The headlights look like a F12 model and interior is inspired from California. The headlamps look like Nissan GT-r's.

I believe the Aston Martin stock wheels are a confirmation on which model the Carbonizzare is based on.

Remember, in GTA 4, the Huntley was a Vapid model, despite Land Rover having absolutely nothing in common with Ford. Also the Minivan is Vapid too, despite not being based on a Ford Motor Company model, viceversa, the Rumpo is a Bravado, but the Rumpo isn't based on any Chrysler Corporation vehicle.

The models don't have to match the brand parody.

The Carbonizzare looks better than both of those.

I love taking pictures of it:

Didn't Ferrari make tractors at one point in time? Or am I thinking of Maserati?

with all due respect, im not to sure on dates crossing referencing in relation to gta4, but ford used to own land rover and jaguar (i live not far from both land rover and jaguar factories, theres a huge ford dealership on land owned by jaguar) bmw then bought land rover for their 4x4 technology

so these bmw x5's you see around, are actually range rover sports :-)

http://gta.wikia.com/Carbonizzare

Design

The car's design draws clear inspiration from British-Italian styling found on the Aston Martin V12 Zagato for the rear fascia, front quarter paneling, and wheels. The headlights are derived from the F12 Berlinetta and the greenhouse area is inspired off the Ferrari California. In addition, the vehicle's front greenhouse form and headlamps may be inspired by theNissan GT-R.
