Hi fellas'.
When I was using the new Import/Export feature and edited some text on the file and imported it, the line doesn't shows up in the objective it should have showed up.

Text before exporting,

  • Obj.1, ~g~Dad~w~: Get in the car.
  • Obj.2, ~p~Ok Dad, I'm coming.
  • Obj.3, ~g~Mom~w~: Come back soon honey!

Edited after exporting,

  • ~g~Dad~w~: Get in the car.
  • ~p~Scarlet~w~: Ok Dad, I'm coming.
  • ~g~Mom~w~: Come back soon honey!

Red color part is the edited part.

After Importing,

  • Obj.1, (Nothing)
  • Obj.2, ~g~Dad~w~: Get in the car.
  • Obj.3, ~p~Scarlet~w~: Ok Dad, I'm coming.

Some dialogues wont show up.

Yeh this is a little buggy glitch with this feature. you must look up all lines, there should be a space between the lines, that causes the problem. that's it check it again and watch carefully because it can make your objective 1 objective move forward.

Here is the tutorial by me -

If you upload the temporary text file somewhere, and post the link here, we can have a look :)

You have to watch out with the lines, the lines are the ones that in the text define the objectives.

There are too much empty lines in the file you send.. already in the DYOMtemp.txt.

* Did you open and save this file with any tool besides DYOM?

* Are you running San Andreas under Linux (using wine?)

* What version of CLEO are you using ?

I'm using Cleo 4.1.

I'm using the GTA SA HOODLUM .exe 'cause my gta_sa.exe is not compatible with Cleo 4.

I'm Using Windows 7 and I used notepad to edit the file.

And I used DYOM to export the file.

This happened to me multiple times as well, there might be multiple causes:

- The text is too long. If it is, the remaining text will cut to the next one.

- Stray marks or spaces.

- This might be an actual bug (if it is, I hope Patrick and Dutch fix it soon).

There were spaces between lines, that shouldn't be. That must be causing it. What if I remove the spaces and make the lines one under another?

Try it, but I can't assure you it will fix your problem.

Only creators can fix this problem. I tried everything and it doesn't work, and as i see other people also don't have luck. So it's mod's problem.

Yeah, this happened to me before when I was making a mission called Murder Mystery. This bug probably made me quit designing.

I Am half way trough the 3rd mission but don't want to release it until the 2nd one is fixed.  :/
