I want to show you my new mod, safehouse for Vice City.

You can smoke and drink inside, and save game of course.

The only problem I can see is the lack of shadow under the chair.

 

But otherwise, it look great. Nice to see a interior mod

Balcony is pretty nice from what I've seen when I played. But if you're using MVL with player shadows, you can see a shadow on a .col that stops you from jumping over the balcony.

Balcony is pretty nice from what I've seen when I played. But if you're using MVL with player shadows, you can see a shadow on a .col that stops you from jumping over the balcony.

 

So the balcony's counted as part of the interior? Useful to know.

 

Shame you can't snipe from the balcony, it seems :(

I think it's possible. If you are near exterior collision, you can shot through it.

I know you could do that at the Portland safehouse in LCS. Whether or not you could do that with the Ocean View Hotel in VC, I cannot recall.

For better effect I should edit exterior building and collision, which could be unhandy and it would be like a hole for the interior.

This is really nice and fitting for the game in my opinion, haven't seen a custom interior that is like this one like EVER.

 

But yeah the only downside are shadows on the chair/table, even if you add fake ones it'll hugely improve the look.

Oh, I can add these shadows and maybe some cool things on the desk so it would be 1.2 version then :)

I like to release mods fast so people can play it even if I still can add something later.

I already have updated script, so player can get some health, but it would be in version 1.2.

How about adding staircases and seperate rooms on each floor?(leave it if you made it.)

I must say, this is a nice little addition to Vice City. I like it a lot. The change it makes allows you to experience the game just as how Rockstar imagined it, but with a little extra if the player chooses to see the additional content (and we are talking with the mod installed). That is something I really like in a mod. I also like how it matches the outside of the building.

 

I guess some things that I'd do to version 1.2.

-Maybe make it so you have to buy the safe house.

-Add something to the far wall of the hall way when you walk in.

-Add fake shadows.

-For the slit where the interior would be in the building, you could change the col on the outside of the building so the opening is there. However, where the opening is, you could make it be a chain link fence col. That way nothing will pass through it, except bullets.

-Open the door going in the closet. That is unless there is a reason for it being closed.
