No zombies for a long time. This is just sad.

I am actually happy with that. Not that I hate zombies.

I spent a lot of time playing nazi zombies in World at War.

Atleast with zombies it gave you more for your game. Ghosts is so hard to get into when there is only MP and a watered down version of zombies (whatever that mode is called) Easter eggs was fun on BO2 BO1 and WAW.

Minus the Danger Close and One Man Army exploit, I thought MW2 was 2nd best of the whole series behind COD4.

Hell f*cking yes. I have 40 days on both MW2 and cod4. Never had so much fun online since those games. I did hate MW2 at the time despite playing it so much, but recent cods don't even hold a candle next to MW2/cod4.
Dude, I think a lot of people hated it, but Favelas was the best map on MW2 IMO. When you had good players that's like the map that epitomizes what CoD is about. Glorious CQC. f*ck man that map was the sh*t.

Then on CoD4 Crossfire. Loved tearing up the sniper noobs with my W1200 pump shotty.

Activision really messed up by trying to f*ck over Infinity Ward. Now the series is sh*te.

I actually prefer the human game modes.

For whatever reason i just could never get into zombies on World At War / Black Ops or extinction mode on Ghosts.

And yet i love things like spec ops, survival waves and chaos mode from MW3.

Ghosts is bringing chaos mode back, but they are doing it with the extinction aliens. Which is completely pointless considering that each DLC contains an extinction story update.

I played the first Call Of Duty in 2003 all the time. I f*cking loved that game, with the stick grenades and the Panzerfaust and the shell shock. It was actually really fun. But that's where it stopped. I hate the series now, it's turned to sh*t. If they ever return to their roots I would be more than happy to buy it. But I doubt they will ever do that. Imagine all the 10 years olds whinging "Omg U hav to reload dis rifle after every shot!".

I doubt that anyone cares what you think in here. If you don't like it, GTFO.

I might as well buy the game if it's interesting. Haven't bought a CoD since MW3.

Why on earth have the developers not created a new engine yet? Because the current engine is even worse than the source engine Titanfall uses. It was made in 1996 for f*cks sake. Even Duke Nukem was undergoing development roughly that time, even if it did get delayed.

To add to the criticism, it is actually a fact that this game adds absolutely nothing game changing or innovating in each release. Modern Warfare 1 and 2 are pretty much exceptions, that's all.

And the fanbase, and by this I mean the kids is so ridiculous, there was news recently that a kid who lost a match in COD called the f*cking cops and military on his opponents house and told them someone was about to die there. They actually went.

Alrighty then, lol. To add to the discussion, I will admit I am slightly curious to see what they do for the next gen. I'd definitely be interested if they added some innovative features, like some kind of more strategic game modes or a voice changer that automatically lowers the voice of squeakers. I'm not joking, this would be a really useful feature.

That's why there's an option to silence someone's mic so you don't hear them in BO2 and I think that in Ghosts too.

I just hope the story campaign is better than the last ones.

Nah I don't mean muting them, but literally lowering the pitch of their voice do that you can still listen to their funny antics without having to gouge your eyes out from the high-pitched wails. I'm just saying, it would be a rally cool feature that would set CoD away from the pack

That would be a cool idea. Would like to see it implemented if I get the game. Although I think I will get it, as this year there aren't a lot of games that interesting for me.

Haven't bought a Cod title since MW1. I don't have high hopes for the new cod but I'm willing to give it a try if they make the gameplay feel fresh.

It would be refreshing after all the War Settings from recent shooters.

I'm on board if the new engine talk is more than just talk. Might actually be interesting.

So they are making a proper next gen, brand new engine? I like the idea of private militarization, it is a very refreshing idea, especially when this is happening right now in the world. They could make an amazing story out of this, but I have very low hopes.

Respawn should make a successor to MW1 and MW2, sort of like H-Hour is to Socom. Would totally get that.

I'm curious on the new engine, hopefully this means a better overall game.

Because it works perfectly fine. It looks great(not the best, admittedly) and performs better than any other game I've ever played. No need to waste time and resources on something they already have, just for the hell of it.

Anyways, I'm interested to see what this next one is. A new developer hopefully means a different take on the series that we've never seen before. I really hope they innovate with the campaign, like Treyarch did with Black Ops 2.

Good news then. But how long has it been? Oh yeah, 26 f*cking years just for a brand new engine.

Source still is one of the best engines out there.

At least we know that Valve is working on Source 2.0, most likely.

Cant say that about the Quake Engine of CoD.

It still somewhat looks similar to Ghosts, IMO.
