Finland dominated USA 5-0 in ice hockey Bronze Medal game. :)

Forgot all about that game to be honest.

Haven't actually seen any events today and will probably only watch the mens final live tommorow. (Depending on what time it is on)

I hate the fact that, that game is on at 4:00 am for me

Love the speed skating events.. Big fan of Shani Davis and totally respect the Dutch program.  They're total beasts in competition.  The Canadians have a few competitors on the world stage but I just don't know their names.    It's what I consider a 'pure sport' (much like wrestling in the summer olympics).. there's no tricks and gimmicks, no weird and wild judging.. just pure athleticism vs the clock.  (even with the judging aspect in wrestling it's still a very raw challenge imho)

I don't feel half as bad about Russians losing 4-1 to them now.

how is it that the US and Russia utterly failed to medal?

they're the only All Star teams outside of Canada.

man that was sad...

I'm guessing it was due to the Americans using up all of their strength against Canada. Russians just suck.

Russia just picked up the Gold, Silver, and Bronze in the 50km Cross-Country. So regardless of whether they actually get the final gold in the 4-man bobsleigh, they are going to be at the top by gold and total medal count.

Canada's up 2-0 with 20 minutes left to play. Barring a collapse, looks like we've got the gold in the bag. Canada's collective defensive play is remarkable and just shutting the Sweds out.

Great game. Well-deserved victory. Some of the Sweeds looked like they were about to cry in frustration in the last period.

Ryan.......... that triple posting motherf*cka

Haven't watched the game as I'm watching Liverpool but its no surprise that Canada won it all as when you look at their team it is just stacked from top to bottom.

An absolute dominant performance by Team Canada at these Olympics. This iteration of Team Canada has to quite possibly be one of the best hockey team's ever put together. Also made history too as the first team to ever go undefeated and still win gold.

Teemu Selanne won the hockey tournament MVP.

I'm gonna cry my eyes out when he retires from the game.

Despite all the controversies with this Olympics, I have to admit that this one had the best opening and closing ceremonies so far. An unprecedented amount was spent. I don't think it will be close to being equaled for a long long time. I feel sorry for the Korean Olympic organizers. They must be feeling a lot of pressure now.

That closing ceremony was brilliant. The bear blowing out the flame and then the tear..........great presentation. What I take from the 22nd winter games is something they aired here in the states after the events were over, the Nancy/Tonya documentary. The drama of it all was compelling and the perfect storybook ending would have been Nancy winning gold that year. Tonya is a bitch  and Sochi put on a very successful winter games.

I completely missed all the final olympic events this weekend, including the hockey and closing ceremony dammit. I was way too busy. Anyway, the Koreans are absolutely brilliant when it comes to ceremonies like this, so I definitely think it's gonna be super amazing.
