Does anyone know if you can toggle walk in GTA SA. Because I recently found a police mod for San Andreas and want to walk and not run, I know I can hold ALT and it will work. But I want to press it once and then it will walk until I press it again.

Post it in gta 4 section and more chance you will get a better answer, but I think you toggle it in option? Never tried it.

Nothing in the options menu for on foot (walking).

If you had a GamePad then the amount of pressure on the left analog stick would control the pace.

So walking with only one key isn't in the normal game play, other than to 'tap' the W or Up Arrow key.

You might check out (if you haven't) the Modding forums or http://www.gtagarage.com site.

We don't do mods on this part of the forum.

The left Alt button allows you to walk. Hold it then move forward.

Read his post better. He wants to find a way to toggle walking, that means you press Alt once, and when you move in any direction, CJ will automatically walk, not jog.

Eh, that's a good one, but pretty impossible if you ask me.

Considering most players are interested in Speed, even when it isn't necessary, I will ask why move at a walk? It's not like the Police won't notice CJ after a crime.
