Help with gta sa materials in 3ds max

Hi, i am having a problem with 3ds max, i made a detailed wheel but when i put it in game it wont look detailed it just looks plane and without detail, here are the pictures for a better understanding, i hope you can tell me a solution because im sick of trying with different configurations of GTA material, please help me!!!!

 

i made the wheels this way:

Hi! 
I think I know how to help you. 
You'd have to open the model in ZModeler. 
With textured wheels have to select (specular highlight). 
And mark it with any texture you can not see the details. :) 
I do not know another way. :)

San Andreas has sh*tty lighting so without a texture to help define the model it won't look good. There's a few things you can do to help though, you can add a subtle specular and reflection map to it. You could try putting the 2 ridges in the rims in different smoothing groups as well but it might look too rigid.
