Thats interesting. Im in bed now so cant look but i wish i could, it sounds like a lead.
Ive had a good look around there before and for a long time tried blowing the arches of the dam etc up when the idea of a flood was mentioned. I didnt see anything then but admittedly i wasnt looking for vents etc.

if you want to try this is it

  • step one. press start.
  • step two. press left to online
  • step 3. press a/x
  • step 4. select playlist.
  • step 5. select create.
  • step 6. select add deathmatch
  • step 7. select "lago zancuda"
  • step 8. save playlist
  • step 9. load playlist.
  • make sre you are in the city when u load playlist. as it loads you will jump accros the map. when you reach the swamps you will see they have not loaded fully and can see ROOMS UNDER IT

THERE IS DEFIANTLY SOME SORT OF FACILITY NOT UNDER FORT ZANCUDO BUT THE LAGO NEXT TO IT!

Edit, actually that spot looks lower and almost on franklins house. Unless I'm looking at the wrong house.

Can anyone remember who owned franklins house or who lived there before he got to look after it?

@Scooby that area is the Zancudo swamplands, no houses or anything around besides the military base. I had a scout around the area in single player, no grates vents pipes anything obvious around just swampland. I tried to do this deathmatch  glitch but it wont let me access online right now so will try when it lets me online to see exactly what hes seeing.

Yes, ive just seen another post on reddit that shows the location you mean and makes more sense.
I'm not sure what the map i linked to is showing then. Maybe the wrong map got posted or something.

Keep coming across stories of UFO's beaming lights/lasers down on to Military installations, such as bunkers where they keep nuke weapons and armament.

 

Not that it helps but, just some fun trivia, i guess.

 

 

I wonder if this is what the Fort Z Light/Beam is about?

Just searched the whole of the land act resevoir lake. Theres a few rocks alright, but they dont seem to be very glitchy, or egg shaped.

I remember back on sep 17th, when no one had any idea that there we're ufos in the game i seen a green and purple light in the distance while i was doing the first couple of missions i have searched for it again but have never seen that light again it was above the highway near Humane labs heading west, that was the first thing that made me think there could be ufos ingame, anyone else seen this before?

@Bassboom two other members have reported such an incident, can you tell us anymore about this or just lights in the sky? Remember what mission you were doing?  

-Edit- Ive tried this lago zancudo deathmatch playlist glitch to see this "potential underground facility", the landscape seems to fully load for me everytime no matter where i begin it from, i cant upload pics of my screen during the load up anyway so hopefully one of you guys can see what this guy is talking about and get a pic up here.

@scooby... that map you looked at was glokons map... the black marker you thought was the marker for this underground facility is actually just a marker the user of the map can move around... the blue markers are the one you want to look at... the blue marker over zancudo river south of the entrance to the base is the area of this supposed underground place...

While on the subject, it would make sense since its near impossible to get under zancudo as the water surrounds it... this would make these underground rooms right near the water for the river and most likely somewhere people have not done the under map glitch much.

Maybe R* was clever enough & they add the inside later, because they knew people will be glitching under the map early.

I highly doubt it.
If this was the case then rockstars is basically making a statement that they're selling a product that is incomplete and and in order to fully see its potential/conclusion you will absolutely need the internet.
Nowhere on the outer packaging is that listed, nor has any statement ever been released regarding such requirements. (at least not to the best of my knowledge)

I have accepted the idea that they may have offered additional content to the purchasers of the collectors edition, and that they will offer updates especially for online play but; that's the long and short of it IMO.
If there is a secret in the game I can't imagine them not putting it in the original game.

If, and this is a big if but; if there is something under the map (ie. Hidden Tunnel/Room, excetra, excetra), that do not load when they are glitching under the map
it would be because the interior of said area, just like the interior of many buildings do not load until you cross the threshold

I have seen several of the videos of them glitching under the map and all I can see are the vehicle and the train tunnels that run under the surface of the map

 
Even if we don't see it, and maybe never will, it suggests there is something in the underground. You see the locked doors with touchpad in the tunnel through chiliad, you see the elevator in zancudo, which only way is down, some pipes or vents for air.

I maybe wrong about this but I'm pretty sure remember reading that the T01 & T02 doors have been found by the file guys and have no special function.

As far as the air vents are concerned...
I agree they do look as if they are hinting to something underground but, there is the real possibility that it was simply put there as ambiance/scenery to give a more realistic feel to the game
But how do air vents randomly sticking out of the ground add ambience ? What player is gonna see them and not immediately assume they lead underground ?

The second thing is the DLC thing,
I dont have access to the net with my machine so cant get future content and dont have the dlc already out. If the rest of the 'puzzle' started by the chiliaid diagram comes as part of dlc then its wrong of them to have included it before hand.
Its almost a con as in intentionally misleading purchasers, false advertising if you would. This is illegal in some places and i for one wouldnt be happy.
They may get out of it by saying it wasnt part of the game or that they didnt advertise it as having ufos or jetpacks but they would have to proove i didnt buy the game because i saw the diagram on the internet and bought the game because of interest in it.

 

Right before you fire up the game every single time, you are greeted with a message saying that some players will have access to special content that not everyone may be able to obtain without an internet connection.

I also agree that it leads you to believe that there must be something underground. However their are electrical panels located all over the game, including two of them located at the T01 and T02 doors and yet they serve no function other then ambiance/scenery.
So who's to say they didn't do the same with the air vents?

using this thought process, then there should be something to this found at the University

but I can tell you from my own investigations there is no underground parking garage

I'm not saying give up on the idea but, it's a well known fact that video games nowadays are truly trying to immerse players into the realism of the game, and because of that fact there is a very real possibility that that is all this is.

I don't know if you've managed to read it (as it does go past quickly) but when you load the game up and get some text appearing, it's a statement saying that some content will only be available to those with an internet connection.  It also mentions on the rear of the 360 box that there is Content Download and an internet connection is required for some content download.

I just think that if this was the case they would have been out something by now
just my take on it

the beach bum DLC gave us buggies and new weapons.
Those are also available in the single player story yet would have needed internet access to obtain.

there's a difference

The puzzle/conspiracy could easily end in the reward being vehicles or weapons, so no, there's not much difference at the time being.

From a business stand point it seems it would be more incline to persuade people to pester their home owners to get internet access. And in turn give money to Rockstar for their new dlc.

Oh also, this building, do you happen to have any pictures? It's my first time hearing it.

I looked at it and the light doesn't reflect on it, but you will see your bullet holes if you shoot it. I agree that it's weird.

 

Ok... all this talk of false walls... fact is we will never be able to search every place for a false wall... the easiest option is to view static collision models, as said before these will show a hole where the wall should be...

At the moment only talkol can view them

 

Is there any way to look at the Kortz Center false wall since it's one of the very few that's been found so far?

Maybe someone else can check this out. And tell me it's nothing. Never seen someone mention it before.

 

Someone looked at it in the last thread because we thought it might be Morse code. I believe he said it was just a light glitch. I think it was tadd that looked at it, but I'm not sure.

 

 

During most of the day and at night, I looked at the Kortz Center door that opens. I tried various things hoping one of them would get it to trigger, but with no luck. Be careful when looking at it since the guards will come if you do too many aggressive things with the door. I also heard the bells that ring. I found that they rang on the hour at every hour so it's probably just some time keeping thing. I also checked all the other doors, but nothing happened except with the main doors in the front of the building. I'm pretty sure I got them all, but I might've missed one. Here is a quick pic of the door opened. You can see where I shot it.

The screenshot containing the "Zancudo Underground base / rooms" in the lake look pretty fake too me. Such a crappy phone picture. Would be awesome if it was there though...

 

I will be disappointed when a jetpack will be found, then the hunt is over and we are all just flying jetpacks :(.

The photo is total potato quality, I think anyone can agree. Doesn't mean it's fake. Content creator is still kinda new, not every area has been searched for weird loading issues, hence OP's premise (teleport to location from as far away as possible). And unfortunately most phenomena isn't captured in HD because most people don't have capture cards, ETC. Hopefully this 'Obvious' minimap will be backed up by searchers soon, or will be future goodness down the road :)

@powa... indeed, ask talkol for the collision model of it...

And yes i did look at those lights, i couldnt see any morse just glitchy lights as you breathe and the camera moves and stuff... but i may have missed one, doesnt mean we shouldnt look, just because ive had a glance at a few lol maybe day of the week and time matters or weather or something... they used morse in 2 places ive seen now so you never know.

We've had a major breakthrough but you all would prefer to argue for two pages about dlc again?

I posted a new way to read the chiliaid diagram last night but again you would rather argue about dlc

The 'vent' coming out of the ground was debunked but again you would all rather argue about dlc.

If all you guys are here for is to argue for the sake of arguing then i give up.

I made a post what seems like ages ago stating i would not be happy if its dlc and for some reason out of all the posts ive made that one is the one you all choose to read. I feel like going back and deleting it so you cant quote it anymore. I have replies to some of you on the subject but ive got better things to do ingame now and so should you.

Everyone right now should be scouring the area where the hidden underground facility has been found. We need a way in or way out.

Besides that,  I took the SD out with Franklin tonight and picked up Trevor. I followed a police chase near Lago Zancudo, got out of SD and the sucker was still on! Oh, what a wonderful noise that thing makes :p Got an interesting video, will upload when I wake up today(later)

 

EDiT I don't want it to be the water edge map, please don't let it be.

I mentioned this building in the last thread. It is actually a combination of 4 buildings that gives it that flashing effect i believe. As you will see observing the Weazel tower that the lights from it do not actually flash at all when close to it. You can also see this flashing from the Zancudo UFO, even through dense cloud & rain.

The Weazel tower lights is the brightest one you can see in the center of this image.

These building all have the same distinctive blue lighting on them. But when combined at a distance they seem to blend together & create the flashing effect you can see from Fort Zancudo.
