I don't see what the fuss is about. so the f**k what if I bought 3 cash cards. I'm tired of people bad mouthing cash cards, GET A DAMN JOB!!! This is 2014 we pay for everything now,so what if companies screw us over to get more money. I'm bending over backwards and willing to pay up, so get with the times or get left behind!!!!!

You are part of the reason games are in the sorry state of today - pushed to sales, then selling content that should have been in the game in the first place as DLC. The other part of the reason is the imbeciles that buy the base product to begin with, instead of voting with their wallets and bankrupt the studio.

Have fun being nickle and dimed, sir.

Did you buy GTAV? If so your post is a tad hypocritical don't you think?? Aren't you "supporting" them by buying the gam

I bought the game in it`s "base" form and I enjoyed it, both Sp and MP. I will not buy any DLC, nor cash cards, though. I will not buy GTA 6 or future GTA games, however.

This game is worth the price for the base version. There are others that aren`t, yet people still buy them.

OP — so how many dicks do you chug in one night to earn that much money to spend?

its called college education and a vision. try owning a small business company once in your life instead of video games and games systems

What's to say I didn't do the same, you smug c*nt?

I may not have a small company but I did do freelancing until I got a full time job under a digital company, and I also had a college education. I bet you own a small startup that has a product that will only sell for three days and crash down or sell out by the end of the year, hence I don't get into that game.

Full time job under a digital company, yet spending free time calling people names on a Grand Theft Auto forum and telling people how to live their life/spend their money, how very interesting and mature of you.

Aye, spending a very small amount of my spare time sticking up to a smug, condescending prick really is interesting and immature. Oh woe is me; whatever shall I do?

In all honesty, I don't want to come across as a prick, albeit the rude satire, but if you're going to talk down to me or make me out to be stupid you get what you deserve. I like to see people at face value but once you start acting like a tool all my tolerance gets thrown out the window, because I feel someone like that deserves none.

Problem is that horse left the barn a LONG time ago. Micro transactions will always be there. They key is finding the delicate balance. GTAV has this balance where games like Call of duty do not.

I would never buy a cash card, but I do see their relevance to the industry. Developers put all their eggs in one basket at a time, for a one time pay out. This medium allows for more longevity in a title, especially for a sandbox type game like GTA where we wait years between installments.

I will continue to support Rock star because quite frankly, they understand the mindset of the mature gamer.

Hence the product before us now.

or you can just glitch it, and that makes you profit. free.

Why would you take the perfect opportunity of something free? As they said, rockstar already made over 66Million dollars and still counting (RL dollars)

No offense, but this is something really we don't need to know about. lol

I don't hate cash cards, but I won't support it. People can do what they want with their money and I choose to not spend a cent after the initial purchase. Even if it was $1 for 1 million in game money, I rather keep that $1

I was more so talking about your post before that, IMO you started acting like a massive c*nt before he had even said anything because you disagreed with his choice of spending... that's what I'm calling immature. I mean you sit here and call him a "smug c*nt" when you actually started acting like an ass before anybody else, I don't much get that. I feel as if you should treat other people who you want to be treated, you acted like a fa**ot, he acted like a smug c*nt, pretty simple. I dunno what you expect, to come here, make a post you thought was funny but was simply really, really f*cking stupid, and then get off without anybody acting the same way back? Yes I'm going to talk down to you, you acted like a dog and now use the excuse that he was being smug, he can be whatever he f*cking wants to be when you choose to have the mentality of a thirteen year old boy.

I'm not poor, I'm just not stupid to pay real money to get virtual money. Besides I spent millions of bucks using money a hacker gave me during that hacking era while some stupid people keep buying virtual money and don't have half of what I got hahahaha

People are fussing about it because it's not that hard to make money grinding missions. I've played other online/multiplayer games where it took much longer to make money.

People like you are my problem, somebody goes against what you like and you feel the need to call them sh*t, pathetic. I'm doing the same thing right now, but that's because I'm pissed off that people like you have to make the community on this forum sh*t. I signed up... well, you can see when, and I have met maybe... two, three good people and the rest are assholes like you. Oh, you are so awesome because you can come on a forum and comment on a post about something you hate, I mean you seen the title, if you didn't like the whole idea of buying a cash card, why bother? Like, you wasted your time coming on here, to this thread, and making up some sh*tty joke that I feel was funny... maybe '08, or earlier. People can do whatever the hell they like with their money and shouldn't need to put up with your dribbling bullsh*t.

As for your hair, nothing against people with mohawks, just people who have mohawks that look like a 70's 'beaver'.

Cash cards do not harm anyone if anything they encourage Rockstar to release more DLCs. People point out that you can glitch for money. If you glitch Rockstar will spend time patching that glitch before releasing a DLC. So if anything glitching is far worse.

Secondly, most people who buy cash cards have other responsibilities and commitments. I for one work pretty much 12+ hours normally 19 hours a day, 6 - 7 days a week. Wake up at 4am, start work at 5am and I finish at 8 - 10pm usually. After dinner and my responsibilities at home I have maybe 2 hours or an hour to game. Some nights I'm to tired to even bother.

I enjoy playing the game as it allows me to relax and get rid of some stress. I do not want to spend those hours grinding Rooftop Rumble or Coveted. Nor am I interested in duping or glitching as I don't believe in it and don't want to spend time learning and glitching.

Compare this to a lot of the cash card haters saying "don't be lazy just grind missions" or "that's a dumb decision just glitch".

First point, it's actually the opposite of being lazy, if I have a job, a house that require my time is that being lazy? I spend hours working and doing stuff around the house as well as socialising yet I'm the lazy one. You spend hours grinding the same mission or missions, just sitting around playing GTA doing the same repetitive thing. If anything you are the lazy one.

I came into GTA:O almost 4 months after it was released and by this time lots of my friends were driving Adders and Entitys. I wanted one so I bought a cash cars to keep up with them. I didn't have time to grind missions or glitch while deployed to Afghanistan.

Second argument, as hard as it is for some people to comprehend there are those out there that want to avoid glitching and duping. I'd rather all my cars and money be from a legitimate method not glitched in from single player. I enjoy looking for uncommon cars. I'm going out on a limb here but I reckon most people who say "lawl u can glitch or dupe I get 40mill in an hour" they're the sort of person who has no commitments. Maybe they work a part time job for a few hours or have school and play the rest of the day. Some people just don't have the time or interest to glitch.

My next subject people who say "that's a dumb decision spending real money on cash cards". Mate last time I checked you weren't my f*cking accountant. Chances are you are upset as you don't have money of your own. I work hard for my money, I pay for my bills and other serious stuff first, I buy the groceries, household needs and clothing. Any remaining money is saved and since I've worked for it I'll spend it on what ever the hell I want. If I want to buy a cash card it's not your problem I worked for it and its my money.

I want to play the game with my friends on the sparse time I have. I do not want to have to worry about grinding missions or glitching money. If I can afford money then I'll buy it. Saves me time and let's me enjoy mucking around with mates. Why should I miss out on the Roosevelt just because I have a job and can't spend hours farming cash. I'll drop a cash card and buy it that way.

Those saying "f*ck you for supporting microtransactions" it's the 21st century. Microtransactions are a thing, they'll be around for ages so get use to it. The game cost $60 you got GTA V which by itself is a game. Additionally for free Rockstar gave you GTA:O. You've got hundreds of hours of entertainment for $60 so stop saying "I paid my $60 so cash cards are stupid". Compared to a movie which is $15 for a few hours entertainment more if you buy snacks. This game is awesome. Microtransactions are used everywhere so it's not surprising GTA implements it now. Just be thankful it's for cash. Not some pay only content or new feature or OP weapon. If there were no cash cards maybe Rockstar will be forced to charge a subscription fee or release pay only content. We all have access to the same content it just takes longer to save without cash cards and some people don't have the time or don't want to spend their time that way.
