I've also always thought that "MyCatBitMe" would be a great forum name, you might give that a run. I'm all out of ideas for right now but if I can think of any more ill report in.

Think about a single word that's derived. :)

Try saying random words that doesn't exist and make something out of them. Example: Arcainog (Random word) - Arcino (Result). That's how my username was borned.

Nevertheless, I found some chemical names quite nice to use as nicknames, for example LSD, used as "Elesdee". It's quite unique I might say and it's also something that I am interested in (always wanted to try LSD)

So if you got a list of chemical solutions/whatever that might sound cool, post them here.

Drug-related nicknames are a nice and helpful warning sign that the person wearing it has no personality and tries desperately to define themselves by something they've been told is cool in an effort to make themselves so. This goes tenfold if you haven't actually done the drug in question.

A username is something that chooses you, not the other way around. That's why coming up with nicknames is sh*t.

Alternatively you could maybe pick something random, like there's a white 2x4 lego brick sitting on my desk right now, so I might call myself "twobyfour", and then you can let the name grow attached to you.

If you try too hard it'd show, so don't think too hard about it. :)

Either place capital letters where necessary (i.e. every first letter of a word) or entirely lower case. No redundant letters/numbers (e.g. xxUs3rn4mexx1994 => UserName) to make it easily readable. Best to use either one word (e.g. Frog or Palindrome) because that's easily memorable, a phrase (e.g. TheFrog or MultipleStabWounds) that makes sense, or a longer phrase that works well - but it's best to stick to shorter ones, 2 syllables at most.

That's the format, so what about the actual name? This doesn't really matter, there's millions of words in the English language, names and the like - as long as it follows the general feel of the language, it doesn't even have to be a word/name people know or even exists - if it's something that can be remembered as a word, then it can be remembered easily. Stenk? Made it up, could be a word. Still follows the 'feel 'of English. Stkgnf? No, not as memorable. Also, the name may give people an immediate judgement of you more than your avatar, so choose wisely in that respect or make it relevant to your avatar if you want.

A lot of people use the same name for a lot of purposes, and I do this myself. Sure, this name had a nice little creation and wasn't some random thing I thought was cool when I was 13 so I don't hate it and cringe at the thought of using it, it's just my internet/gaming name. In your case, however, not really the best of choices.

Lastly, don't go for something generic like HorseLover or Obama, be more imaginative.

Like Brobama.

Actually, forget everything I said. I choose Brobama.

BROBAMA.

It's not very meaningful, nor does it say anything about you, but you asked for some chemical names, so how about Benzene?

I'm sorry dude, but you giving advice about usernames is like Dick Cheney giving advice about how not to shoot someone when going quail hunting.

Pick something, it really doesn't matter. Nobody will care what your username is. Just ask Niko Bellic Half Brother Lucchese.

Step 1: no numbers

Step 2: no X or sh*t that's supposed to adorn it

Step 3: Think of something, anything that comes to your brain. e.g. Death Metal

Step 4: Think of how you could modify that to be something else. e.g. Deaf Metal

Alt Step 3: Choose your favorite color. e.g., Red

Alt Step 4: Pick out the first thing you see when you look away from the PC. e.g., Rectangular box. Name = TheRedRectangle

Alt Step 3 #2: http://www.spinxo.com/

I'm been wanting to post this for a while. I noticed when I click on your profile and I look at the link. Usually it goes like:

http://gtaforums.com/user/User ID - Name/

However for you in the 'Name' column, it shows up as 'zfann4lafl' instead. So I'm guessing the forum reads the codes in your name as that. Ha ha.

OT: I don't know, why not go for something simplistic and GTA, like: Trevor42?

Use your imagination, try to find an username that actually is both unique, and kind of, tells something about you.

My username? Only few know...
